Hey, that's an awesome project! Space quest ][ is my second favourite SQ, after the third one. Is this going to be a 1:1 remake? Please please please get rid of the dead ends this time, mmmkay?

Song
The Isle of the Dead, op.29 by Sergei Rachmaninov

This is possibly the most haunting piece of music I have ever heard. I absolutely love it and have been enchanted by it ever since I first heard it.
How I discovered it
Wiki. Symbolist Painters - Boecklin - Isle of the Dead(painting) - Musical piece
Fun fact
Actually it sounds as a funeral tune. Hilarious.

I forgot Sherylin Fenn... the cherry moment from Twin Peaks, anyone?

Most beautiful actresses? Grace Kelly, Loretta Young, Jennifer Jones in their prime.
From the contemporary actressesI'd say Jennifer Aniston and Amy Smart.

Now that you bring it up, GG, what was so illustrious about that Manchester sex pistols gig?

Yeah, they are not among my very favourites but I do enjoy listening to them once in a while. I even went to their show a few months ago and enjoyed it immensely.

QuoteLol, sorry about that... that was yesterday and I was in one of those moods... Thank God I wasn't listening to Badalamenti while doing the video, I would have been sobbing the whole time. Pregnancy hormones sure are a pain.

I actually meant that as a good thing, I am quite a fan of surrealism and Badalamenti in particular. It wasn't just the sobbing, but the contrast between your sad countenance and the seemingly incoherent things you were talking about/first about a movie you thought was crappy, then about your cat... I kind of lost the connection/.
I played that clip again with the "Fire Walk With Me" theme in the background and it actually turned out rather peculiar.

Coffee Lady, that latest videoblog of yours /"Blues"/ seems quite surreal to me, I can picture it with Badalamenti music in the background.

Manos: Hands of Fate!

This movie is just hilarious! Not for a minute did I stop laughing when I watched it. I can't possibly imagine how can anyone think it's painful to watch. Just sit back and laugh at the awkward dialogue, ridiculous script and last but not least, TORGO. Enough said.

If you liked Gabriel Knight: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned, you might also like The Da Vinci Code, or hate it.
The latter, ktnxbye.

I don't really remember, since it's been a few years since I last played GK1. But perhaps you're right. And if you think that's obvious, take the maple syrup puzzle from GK3.
In my opinion, it is the inventory-driven puzzles being emphasised on heavily that lead the genre to the place it is now. And that's mainly why I don't feel guilty looking at walkthroughs.

Lately, I don't much care if I do use a walkthrough or not. In the 90s, when there were hint lines and hint books, creators put at least a puzzle or two to support those. Even in an otherwise perfectly designed game like Gabriel Knight those are present - the message that you had to write on the tomb with a brick puzzle, for instance. It would take a lot of trial and error to get that right without some help. Not to mention the games in which the inventory puzzles play a central role, namely Monkey Island and Sam and Max.

Hey m0ds, I'm really glad you took the time to listen to it and appreciated it!
Actually, a friend of mine and I were talking a while ago and I said there could be no higher recognition of my music than someone committing suicide because of it. Joke aside, what you said is perhaps the half-highest recognition I've had. :)
Again, thanks for listening and enjoying the album even if it was not quite your cup of tea.

Um, episode one had a free demo, as far as I can remember. Which was quite mediocre, as a matter of fact.

Wow, that looks impressive! Who drew it?

...which was changed from 'voting is underway' only a few hours before the actual ceremony, if I hadn't been on irc the day before, I wouldn't have known.
I apply for the position of awards PR and pimp for next year! :)

You're just being bitter.

I personally hope this goes smoothly and the best game wins. :D
