Helm, there are several thousand AGSers and at least a hundred who would get the jokes... the games won't be anything that special themselves, much like RON.
And I would make the first game myself had I the time to do so. As for which AGSers are included, well, I guess that their would  gradually increase.

So, I was thinking, "MAGS games with AGSers as characters are cool... but only one month a year do we have such rules. Why aren't there more games like, say, Mittens murder mystery?"

Basically, my idea is, let's have a RON-like world with AGS forum members as characters. The only arguable point would be the setting. I have some ideas of my own:

Mittens:
- at a cosy winter resort
- at a rockin' sea resort
Other:
- AGS university campus

Well, what do you guys think?

A Bonus track, entitled "Back to Jekyll" and composed and arranged by yours truly, is now available.

Maybe you should say how much of the game you've got ready, Hobbes?
And if someone commited does take over the project, I'll continue my work on the buccaneer 2 soundrack. I hope it will be so.

I personally consider last year's categories to be just fine. And will there be no lifetime achievement award this year? I think there should be one.

And while we're at it, I entirely support SSH for running the awards - he has shown immense reliability, and it would be nice to have the awards earlier than April this year.

Yes, it was a short sample of what's in the full album. ;)

General Discussion / Re: AGS Ezine?

Yeah, as I mentioned in another thread lately, due to some people's lack of punctuality it has been postponed for some time now, but at the moment it is in the making.

Im seeding when my computer is on, but if the torrent doesnt work, use the http link anyway. Looking forward to hearing your opinion on the album, auhsor.

The AGS Ezine has been on holiday due to some people's failure to understand the meaning of words and phrases such as "As soon as possible", "urgent", "right away" and so on. Anyway, the ezine is going to be back soon without them, and it's going to be a bit different than the issues that have come out so far.

As for the inventory, its creator, dimitris manos, said that he will not make it anymore because he is far too busy on his new site, www.adventure-eu.com, and that the site covered everything the inventory did.

Actually, I did play some of the keyboards, that's how I typed in some of the notes. I would modify them if they didn't turn out right though.
#271
Well yeah, but it is basically the same - discussing and playing our ideas. Of course, its a lot slower that way, but still, the idea is the same. Plus, the level of collaboration on most songs is quite low - only 3 songs were written by both of us, 23 were digitalised by me, and 2 were made and digitalised by Petteri. Well, and the occasional edit by either of us here and there, but that's nothing too big.

Edmundo, I guess you mean the tracks we composed together? If that is the case then we do it pretty much the way we would do it if we didnt live so far apart - discuss the tune /on irc/ and then write it /in midi/. Then we add instruments, variations and melodies to the midi till we are content.

And, indeed, happy birthday Petteri!

Hey, thanks for the nice words guys!
Ishmael: We kept the tracks short because they worked that way, instead of lengthening them to make a longer, yet supposedly repetitive listen.

Edit: If anyone would like write a review of the album we'd gladly put it on the site.

No need to, voh - we already have a host - AGA.

Here it is. Enjoy.
#275
Hm, it seems that you should currently use Azureus to download this torrent, sorry for the temporary inconvenience.

... "The Genuine confessions of dr Jekyll and mr Hyde"!

This is our first album, read all about it here.

It is currently available as a downloadable torrent(32megs).

Basically, its mostly instrumental, with one 'real song', the title track.
The styles vary, although the most prominent one is rock. It is likely to appeal to anyone, especially the ones who have heard our music before and liked it.

A proper download url will appear shortly (hello AGA), but if you can and know how to, please use the torrent - it saves traffic and could be faster if more people use it.

Enjoy the album and do not forget to leave a comment.

Petteri and Vel

Edit: The album can be downloaded from here

Heh, for once I dont sign for such a petition and it actually does something.

Anyway, Im very happy to hear these news - Kq9 was maybe the most promising fan project out there... and Im glad it still is.

Its a nice sprite, and Im sure it can become even better in a DOTT-like way. Have fun enhancing it.

PS: Return to fantasy is nice, but sonic origami is best.

Looks great, nice to see this one progressing!
Hope you finish this (soon).
