I suggest we have a pimping award. Last year I may have got it, but this year guess who it goes to. :P

Seriously though, I think that there should be 5 games nominated for the best music award.

Yes indeed. But it is bloody against the forum rules to write in other languages than English. :P

QuoteCan't see my cursor.

Could it be because it's a rolling demo?

I think that most people here are not doing the games with thought of material award, but rather the enjoyment they would bring to players. Hence, in my opinion, a certain ammount of money would degrade the awards to a lower level.

Gabriel Knight tribute(Wolfgang Ritter theme)

edit: sorry about the recording, it buzzes at times.

The third one, rather. The bitrate of GK2's soundtrack was 64Kbps as far as I remember.
#448
Well that's surely better than general midi, but still not quite what the soundtrack of Gabriel Knight - sins of the Fathers can be.

Here's mine:

FOY demo(lets hope that it will be released sometime next year)

Shadowplay

Rise of the Hidden sun

Buccanneer II

QfGII VGA

KQIIIVGA

And the music rocks by all means. Pity it's MIDI, though - would have sounded so well in digital audio.

Whoever cannot find it, for example.

The floppt version of GK1 works just fine without anything.

However, the non-interlacing patch for GK2 is worth downloading.

Hey, that looks as good as ever!
And, of course, you are using the artwork you previously made, right?

Glad to hear you're back - hope to see this progressing really well!

Congratulations, SSH!
I cant say more, really! All the best!

I think that this year there should be five nominees for best music - the ammount of games with music especially made for them has drastically increased.

Actually, there was a comparison in handwritings in one of the police quests, can't remember which, though. It seemed like something that is pretty natural to do, something you'd do in real life. As for the ending puzzle, I haven't played Dagger of Amon Ra, so I can't say I copied it from somewhere else.

Duuude cant you please lower the bitrate a bit (>_<)
Im at 128Kbps and it skips and buffers quite often.

I have absolutely no idea what causes that, so no.

Damien, you shifted the strings an octave down.

However, I think that the tune needs either softer(slower) strings or sharper ones - thats somewhere inbetween.
