Looks to be in the true Monkey Island Spirit.

Will you be making fun or ripping off Elton at any point in this game?

Looks very SQ6-ish, very nice.

Well not every one wants to download a massive demo just to see if this game looks worthy enough?

Just put up some screenshots, its the rules.

I think you should add more colour to the sky, and more plants with roots showing.  ;)

Your backgrounds are always amazing, you should invest some time into making some nice tutorials.  ;)

What would be wrong with a naked dwarf in a RPG? Why do they need to be clothed?  ;)

Gabriel Knight 1 had good GUIs? What? Those GUIs were horrible required too much thinking and too many clicks to try and get the right one. I think Monkey Island 3 has an amazing GUI. I like the  Quest for Glory 3/4 GUIs too they were perfect for the game and I loved them because they didnt require too much of trying all kings of clicks.

It's like the original Pacman... you give him eyes and then you have to give him ears, hair, glasses, a beard. By adding detail, you can lose sight of the charm you originally captured.

If you really wanted to be realistic, you would shrink his head and lengthen his limbs. But I don't think Ali's goal is to recreate a Hans Holbein the Younger portrait.

Wise words there, folks! I totally agree, his not making a half life 2 model, his making a funny cartoon looking Henry.  ;)

If I was to remake SQ3, I would use the Roger Sprite for SQ1VGA or SQ4VGA, edited slightly.

There is one small problem: SQ3 Roger is much smaller (has less 18 pixels high). So changing Roger sprites for SQ1 or SQ4 requires a lot of changes in the backgrounds/characters.

And? If you use 320x200 res it shouldent be a problem, if roger is a few pixels higher it wont make a difference if you remake the backgrounds too.

I agree it looks perfect now, great job all of you.  ;)

I don't think people were uppity about the remake. I think people took offense when he claimed that the graphics in the original were worse than his.

Thats my point.

His sooo cute. I love this, amazing work.  ;)

Very nice. You plan a SQ3VGA>

Hmmm, I think its very good. Two things:

-She looks a bit cross-eyed.
-Her arms are too long or her legs are too short.

Otherwise very good.  :)
