Hi all,

Yes the notes from the book comprise the password(s) to the computer. Probably more accurate to say "pass-sentence".
Spoiler
The notes are numbered I, II and III. Put the words into the sentence (in Spanish) in that order and voila!

Yes, the link on THIS page goes to itch, but if you go to AGS games you cannot get this game. If I was the author I'd want to correct that.

The download link on the AGS Games page delivers an empty box, hence it's been downloaded zero times. That's a shame because it's a great game that most users are missing out, and you can't even report the link as broken.

Same from me too, great game! (oops, demo) Thanks!

Yes Heltonjohn, we know all that. In real simple words - how do we get Mia to the docks? What items do we need? when do we need to do it? There are players who have entered the RV, so we know it is possible. My reference to the dead ends means that when you have tried everything with everyone and everything else what further action can one take? Hang in there Sailorfreak, I'm starting the whole game again.

It looks like I'm stuck at the same place, and cannot proceed. I suspect that the puzzles are somewhat linear, meaning that if you do an act at a point in time without having all the necessary items, the outcome cannot be realised. The "hints and tips" that people have posted here assume that one has done all the acts that they have, and if one has not then the "yellow book in inventory" that enables you to shut down the alarms and cameras you will never possess. This game has huge potential, but it needs a lot of work because at the moment I rate it unplayable. One wrong turn is a dead end, and there should be no dead ends.

Hints & Tips / Re: Falling dark2 - relapse

I can answer my own question here; simply shoot him many, many times and keep yourself alive - which applies to just about any monster in adventure gaming. It took me 5 playthroughs to realize what I needed to survive chapter 3, and you've got to go back to the chapter start every time to re-equip because once you enter the mansion you are on your own. There's no ducking out to pick up items. Aldys is your best friend here, and you will make her very rich indeed. If you choose to take a lot of painkillers with you, remember the toxicity and take something stronger than mineral water with you. If you find the homeless man's diary read it well. It's as if it was written by the game designer himself.

Any tips on how to take out the serial killer after the mansion in chapter 3?

I don't know what I've done here. I've achieved all the objectives in the casebook (3 clues from crimescene, interviewed suspect etc.) and now it's time to descend the stairs from the bar. As soon as I click on the stairs, the mouse starts to descend, then walks to the middle of the bar room, the game ends abruptly with the following error message:

---------------------------
Adventure Game Studio
---------------------------
An internal error has occurred. Please note down the following information.
If the problem persists, post the details on the AGS Technical Forum.
(ACI version 3.5.0.26)

Error: Unable to create local script: Runtime error: unresolved import 'dDialog7'

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

This happens every time I play it, and I've tried various resolutions and windowed mode. Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions anyone? Great game by the way, I would really like to finish it.

I think that maybe Bertolino is stuck at the very beginning. A general tip for this game (the original version is the same): when you find something or open a secret compartment or open a chest, look inside and take whatever, look inside again because you might find another item or a clue. Keep looking until the game tells you "It is empty" or there is nothing to see.
For Bertolino:
Spoiler
Go towhere you picked up the flask and look there - you will find a coin. You can now proceed.

Hints & Tips / Re: Suli Fallen Harmony Demo

Yup! Try these on for logical:

The french as I would translate it, for the second enigma is:
"When it's ready it is scythed. We are scythed if we don't have it. What is it?"

The fourth enigma I would translate as:
Even when dead it conjures up evil spirits. It can be enchanted when rose-coloured. As a group it can make music. And the answer should be "A wood", not "wood"

I reckon that takes the guesswork out of the equation. I only tried 18 variations out of the possible 81.... sad.

I wonder if it's a translation problem. I'll download the french version and compare it.

Well you can try various locations and Suli will say "I want you to have it, but not here."  Have you examined everything on Macca's shelves?  You need to sharpen the shell, n'est-ce pas? That's a vague hint, if you want a full spoiler, nah, you won't need one!

Hello Cookie!

I too have just finished the demo, and I agree with all Shadow1000's comments. I look forward to the finished game, and if you need help with the translations, I am available also. I studied French for 6 years and used to translate for various companies, but I am a native English speaker. Fantastic game, well done!

The enigma puzzle is frustrating, Oscar will ask all 4 enigmas whether the answers are correct or not. The first and third enigmas are logical and straightforward. The second makes no sense to me, and I only got the fourth by trying every option. Here's the spoiler:

Spoiler
The answers are the mist, wheat, the path, and wood.

It's a great game though.

The legend of the Clifton Beach pizza pixie is a myth, a dreamtime legend that tells of a great hunter who always had food and sought those who were hungry and provided for them. In that time it was goanna, crocodile or wallaby but nowadays pizza rules supreme, a little pizza joke there... a Very little joke...

I am so disappointed I slept-in on the day of the Green Island trip! I had such a great time with you guys the night before that I could not wake at the usual birdsong dawn, and instead saw the sun streaming through the curtains at 9:45. It has to be the worst feeling ever, I missed a great time and I had reneged on my promises to show you my aquarium and turn you all into water nymphs. No amount of apologies will suffice for that, and it is one of the biggest regrets of my life - the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

The next day was Kuranda, so I thought I'd "cut you off at the pass" and get to the house at about 5:30 with some pizzas - because there's not much to do in Kuranda, and as you enjoyed a slice or two of entree you could regale me with the tales of your adventures of the past days. When I got there, there was NCH - which is Australian slang for "the domicile was unoccupied". Thinking ahead, I left the pizzas there and went home to have dinner. After dinner, and sure that you guys had gone out for tea I took a little nap. I thought a couple of hours would invigorate me, and I'd join you at about 8:00 p.m. Woke up at 2:45 a.m. didn't I?

There is no amount of jet-lag that could have enabled any of you to be awake then, another screw-up. So I headed for the fartsack to sleep furiously quickly so I could at least catch up with you in the morning. It's a truism of life that the more you want something innocuous - like sleep - the harder it is to obtain. The more you desire something "naughty", the further it recedes. So I slept in again and missed saying goodbye. I feel so worthless.

Anyhow it was great to meet you all and put faces and real names to the legendary names. I hope you enjoyed your time in this part of the world, you were very welcome, and I'll have to do the next mittens properly! Anyone for Antigua or Western Samoa?

With much love and many regrets,

Wiggy
