This is assumed.  :P

Good to see a lot of entries, even if most of them are yours. :P
Any last minute entries?

I will second:
One flew over the cuckoos nest;
Black Sheep;
Slumdog Millionaire(YES!);
Fiddler on the roof;
a Space Odyssey: 2001;

And I will suggest:
The Castle, an Australian classic that I've not yet seen a foreigner understand;
A knight's Tale, not D&M in any way, just a damn fun film;
The Sting, fantastic double-cross, great acting, great soundtrack;
Milo & Otis, because it's been one of my favorite films since I was young.

Ooo, I;ve got another one!
The Rage in Placid Lake, because you'll never get the chance to see such a weird film otherwise.

Indeed, Happy B'Day Harg!

Greatly suggest V for Vendetta, as it has some of the awesomest action, and some great quotable quotes!

Clicking on the "..." button next to the space should automatically insert the function name and create a function stub in the room script file.
#368
You could cheat, and stick in a function level bool to track whether the button has been clicked that frame, and check it before making the sound.
Assuming I understand the problem...

I cant say I've played tons of Indie games, but the only one I can think of that has something remotely similar to a "Cinematic Sequence" is Cortex Command, and it's more of an awesome intro using painted images and fantastic music, really.

I have no experience in this, but I do feel that you are right about games and films drawing close with storytelling technique.
I also enjoy storyboarding various scenes from as-of-yet unmade games, and am looking forward to seeing what the pro's can do!  :)

Escape 9-5 would be a great group name... :=
#371
Yeah, people tend to lean forwards on contact with the ground, as their leg absorbs the impact.
#372
Yeah, I think the previous chin had more character.

The armbands and shoes aren't the same colour.
Not sure what else is out, though.

Perhaps that bulge down near his waist could be made a little taller, removing some of the hour-glass shape that doesn't fit the side.

One thing that I think applies a great deal to both games and films is the Rule Of Perception!

Happy late B'Day, Bulba!

Also: it depends on how much XP you've been getting...

Actually, I was talking less about the number of leaves and more about the leaves themselves, but good point anyway.
#377
It looks rather feathery, perhaps you should try making more leaf and less gap.
This would also make it much easier to animate.
#378
Glad to fill this out.
Although, some of the 5-option questions seemed to be very similar to one another...
#379
Oooh, I would dearly love it if it was possible to publish custom events!

Yeah, I've been using C# (With a little XNA every now and again) for some time now, and I've been fully satisfied with the results. With XNA you can do 3D pretty easily, so if it's anything like RunEscape in that respect, it could make things easier.
Basically, you should be able to do what you want equally well with most of your options, but what you choose will change both the quality of the final product, and how difficult the initial coding will be.

I'm taking a short break from AGS, and so will have plenty of time to get even more familiar with C#, and possibly be  a C# tutor of sorts...

Anyway: C# == good; Happy to help.  :)
