Yeah, I know it's regress, but after spending some time looking at the alternatives, I decided that the balance was too close, and that there were a host of people who'd cut my throat if it resulted in disaster.
However, I suffer from an unfortunately bad case of rook-blindness, and so completely missed the possibility to take the rook.
Note: I really do seem to suffer from this Rook-blindness, as I have lost many games this way.  :-\

Since the standard time is 6 in the morning, three hours earlier isn't going to be any more suitable. :P
The ideal time for me to do it would be some time between 7 1/2 ~ 9 hours from the time of this post.
Scarab, if you want to do it with me, so that we can keep each other honest, that might work.
The only problem now is getting the topic on time....There isn't some kind of timelock message that could be sent, or a non-competitor who could be informed?

Is there any chance a regular "Pre-HourGame time" time could be arranged?
It's just that there is no way in the world that I could make the proper time, but I tend to put it off indefinitely/forget about it, as there's no one else doing it at the same time.
Also: IT'S NO FUN ON YOUR OWN!  :'(

Aw, and I'd started a DayGame and everything!
I was parodying Lost In A Deep Forest.
Ah well, I'll finish the tech demo, anyway, since it's just a little code.

Who's up for some Hourgaming to fill the gap?

I was waiting for someone to do that. :D

Yeah, thanks for sharing, as otherwise I probably wouldn't have heard of this, but you did technically breach copyright, in a minor way.  :P

Your abstract art is a little clashy, and the curved walls in Damien's draw are a must.
And probably the flatter top, too. :P

Indeed, it does look interesting!

Although, Mehrdad, I'm not trying to shout it or anything, but often people whine about you using text off of a site  in verbatim...

Happy B'Day, then. :)

While on the topic of random game clones for AGS, I'm sorta working on a Mario Party clone for AGS, with a level editor for creating various AGS game themed boards.

If that sounds a little harsh, Wolverine, just remember that many a time has a n00b come along, found AGS and said "i wana mak a MMO!".
Monkey isn't trying to say that that's what you're like, but it's a precaution against waisted time and effort.

Show us you've got something!  ;)

I've done this in AGS, complete with moving enemies and changing size/shape of field of view.
I just defined everything physical as vectors and used a few simple coordinate geometry equations to check for collisions and intersections.
This can also be useful if you want to change fields of view(or another related sensory thingimo) to dynamically change around the players(or another enemies) position, which is fantastic if you want squads or complex AI.

I think AGS would be ideal.
While it's a little more abstract than your standard adventure game, the simplicity of setting up non-intensive games is one of the things AGS excels at.

Mad, that's epic!
Anyone here particularly good at bionics?
