The current list box is a bit cumbersome but it is sometimes useful to be able to switch room areas with the cursor keys whilst keeping the mouse pointer stationary, saves me a few paw prints on the monitor, trying to remember a particular pixel.

I've left it go for 30 mins before now and it has never finished. I have to do a complete reboot, and suffer the consequences. I really think that programmes should not, practically, take out the operating system just because you browse a folder it's writing to.

 I've had this happen so many times but have now worked out how to make it happen. If I am saving a large game, then while the game is saving I open any file (files that are completly isolated from ags, like a readme.txt), or even just browse, in the Compiled directory, then XP goes into extremely slow mode. The saving game dialog stays on screen and appears to just hang, and every disk acces, from any application, takes ages, for example it take about 15 minutes to close photoshop. Everything still works, just incredibly slowly.

Hi, I've just played through the game and think you have found a bug. The 'Quit' option doesn't work within the Slug Princess, but the game remembers it, (even in save games), so as soon as you leave the Slug Princess the 'Quit' command gets executed, which could be a long time after you clicked it. I'll fix it but I'm afraid there is no soloution for you other than to go back to a save before you tried to use the 'Quit' or restart, sorry.

You should be able to save over previous saves, I can. I think sunshinegold had a similar problem though but don't know if she fixed it. You can always delete old saves directly from the games folder (agssave.000 etc.). If you need to see the save name you can view the save files in word pad and look at the text immediatly after 'Adventure Game Studio saved game' near the start of the file. Do you have user permissions setup so you can't overwrite files or something?

I do everything via the clipboard now, miles faster than saving and loading stuff. Photoshop lets you use CTRL-SHIFT-C to do a merged image copy to the clipboard.

There is a bug where the prince doesn't reset to start pos after finding him once, you will have to work around that with old saves, this might be causing your treasure deficit. The ruby ring is worth 40, sure you had it?
