All,
I've got some bad news....
It should not be possible to enter the Office until you have the office key. I suggest you don't use anything you found in the office until you have the office key.

ok, thanks a bundle.

splat44,

Just to confirm, you have interacted with the blotter first to enter the blotter pad screen?

To get X-Ray vision, make sure you have the 'LOOK' cursor. Then shake the mouse very quickly horizontally. You only need small mouse movements. Think frequency, not vigour. The power increases with time.

I think I might add a sort of guage to provide some visual feed back on this, as it's causing a few problems.

sunshine,
You should never be able to reach a position where you have to restart.
Spoiler
If you look closely, there should now be two sticks joined together at the rock. There is another stick which you maybe haven't found yet. You'll need to do a bit a climbing to find it.

Sorry if this is in wrong forum.
But I'm the author of Magsic II but it isn't appearing in my profile. When I try and edit the Game page over on the AGS site, It says invalid password but I'm the author so don't need a password. It says Admins can see passwords so who can help?

cittymom,
I feel I have to reply before poor quaver gets ate.
Spoiler
You have the monster by the sea?. The bell makes the monster eat what ever is infront of him. The note it belches depends on how many fruit are in the circle when you ring the bell. There should be just enough fruit for the three belches you need.

Fisher, Be patient.
It takes me about 3hrs to upload the file, I only have 28K modem speed. If you don't have a download manager I'd recommend GetRight it copes with disconnections and eventually gets the job done.

Yeah, I had to rush the endings in the MAGS version, I've put a lot more dialogue in to the final scenes as this is where everything really gets explained, and there are a lot of twists at the end.

Fisher,
Your room is up the stairs, go left from reception.

All,
I've released a final version of this game on completed games forum. I recommend you download the new version and start over, before you get too far into the old one. The X-Ray stuff is much easier now.
#413
Crave, is now as complete as it's going to be so here you are.

Story:
This is the story of Cacoe, a stick man made of chalk, with special X-Ray vision. Whilst reading a newspaper he comes across an article about someone called Fenelda, this triggers a very early memory in his life, and he sets off to the Hotel Carnaby to investigate.

Crave contains nude scenes and adult themes, and is not suitable for everybody, be warned.

There is also a complete 1980's parody sub-adventure game included within the main adventure called 'Slug Princess', in which a young girl is transformed into a slug and has to find a magical gem in order to save her love, the prince.

There are 4 endings to the main game, the best ending also requires you to get the best ending in the Slug Princess. Which isn't easy....

Screens:

Download:
Crave (24 Mb)

All comments taken on board, and bugs gratefully received.

Enjoy.

EDIT:
I have now released the sub-adventure 'Slug Princess' as a stand alone short game. Basically because it's too well hidden in Crave and people that don't want to play an adult game, or download 24MB instead of 1Mb, can have access to it.

Story:
You play a young Girl who is about to marry the Prince, when an evil Witch materializes and kidnaps the Queen, sends the Prince into a 100 year sleep and then transmogrifies our heroine into a Slug. Your task is to find a fabled Gem and return it to the King so as to pay the Queen's ransom.

Screens:

Download:
SlugPrincess (1 Mb)

Note, it is exactly the same as the Crave version.

Thanks for the bugs. The final build should be up in Completed Games later today, the X-Ray ability has been made much easier to activate, some bugs and spelling mistakes corrected, and more dialogs and endings. It's impossible to get full testing and polish when you've got a MAGS deadline looming.

Yes, that was on my list of things to change, but didn't get around to it (i.e. forgot, it's only a number I need to change). Have altered it here, will be in final final version, possibly tonight or tomorrow. I find it easier if you just move the mouse a tiny bit, it's frequency not vigour that matters. But, yeah will/have do/done.

At last, here is my over ambitious MAGS entry,

CRAVE

Warning:
This is an Adult game, and contains frontal nudity, and adult themes, but is not meant to be crude in anyway.

Plot:
Cacoe reads about someone called Fenelda in a newspaper and the name rings a bell. Uncertain why he knows this name he visits the Carnaby hotel, and meets 6 beautiful sisters....

Stats:
50 screens, 10 npcs, 3 endings, or rather ways to finish.
Features a full 1980's parody sub-adventure 'Slug Princess' with 20 screens and 6 npc's.

Screens:

Download:

Download (30 Mb)

I will release a slightly more polished version next week, but this is fully playable.

Enjoy,

Klaus,
I'm going to have to ask for an extension. The game was finished, 3 hrs ago but am still uploading. It's raining here and I keep losing my connection mid upload, I've already had to split the file into 3 chunks. only managed 11Mb so far. Will keep trying.
Anyone know of a good ftp/upload manager like getright is at downloading, that copes with disconnections?

I'm starting to upload now, but it's about 30Mb, over a 28k modem, so please be patient. Should take about 3hrs
