Just downloaded it... looks good so far!

Well it still hasn't helped, I think he's given up. Thanks for trying! (and I think you confused him, that's very impressive!  )

He just emailed saying he did what you said, but it came up with another message saying:

You must create and save a game first before you can use this engine. Unable to find acsgame.dat

So no, it didn't work yet...

My friend (who is not really an AGSer) downloaded a game I made using AGS, but he couldn't get it to work. He asked me to post this (which is presumably a message he was given when the error occured):

" Illegal Exception

An exception has 0xC0000005 occured in ACWIN.EXE at EIP = 0xBFF8C15B ; program pointer is

AGS cannot continue, this exception was fatal. Note the numbers above and what you were doing and tell CJ. "

He was trying to launch the game when it happened.

Hmm... I'll check it out. (see if I can get the same problem anyway!)

Also, I picked the music to match various "themes" from the people in the game (eg. Chris acts like Sesame Street is his favourite show... or maybe it is...). In the classroom (if you got there) it should be the theme from The Great Escape, which I spent basically the whole school year humming.

Yes, I knew about the exits, that's why I added the feature where you can use the arrow keys to move - it helps! However, since you found it a problem, I will try to fix it. I had thought maybe it wouldn't be worth the bother, and it was just me who couldn't get them to work.

I will also try to fix the writing at the bottom, thanks for pointing it out.

I suppose I should tell you the game is fairly short, but hopefully not too hard! I used photos for all of the graphics but I think it looks... well, alright! I'm really bad at drawing anyway
