I'm glad that you are having fun with the game.

What you need to do is:

Use the talk symbol on the rock and the password screen will come up.  the password is hatari pikash.

You will find:

The fuzzy flowers are on Alethia one screen up from the beach where you first arrived.  They are set against the rock and there are five colors.  The fairy is also on Alethia and she is as far left as you can go.  Extra little hint: There is a second beach on Alethia to the right of the fuzzy flowers.

Here's a little help...

It's that dark patch next to the rocks where the girl was jumping.  With being able to cross back and forth over the bridge, you can get this at any time.

The stick is located in the second part of the beach area right next to the rocks. (Actually, it's more of a log type thing.)  You will only be able to pick it up as Debbie and when you are saving the girl.

I re-played that part of the game using the walk-through (just to make sure I didn't miss a step) and it played perfectly.  

Things to check:

Make sure you picked up the picture from the general store.  Double check that you are on Summanus.  The rock where the guy will be sitting is right under the blue bird.

   Found a slight glitch in the game, but it is an easy workaround.   After Mark gets captured by the Indian and it switches back to Debbie,  don't interact with the copy machine again in the hotel.  If you do, it will switch you back to an earlier view and there will be an error later on.

Any who experience this, just restore to an earlier point and then don't interact with the copy machine again.

Somehow, this slipped by and even my beta-testers didn't find it.


P.S. The tongs should already be in your inventory at this point.

Hey everyone,

This error is very strange. 

I just tested that part of the game and it went through with no problems using Windows XP.  Also, just in case, I tested it on my husband's computer using Windows Vista and it played fine.  Can you give me any specifics on what you were doing just prior to the error? Maybe that can help me pinpoint it more.

Thank-you for the comments- both good and bad.

It's always good to get feedback so that you know what works and what doesn't.  The more information I have, the better the next game will be.

The file size is 397 MB - compressed.  The game itself is actually 1.27 GB.
I tried to make it smaller by splitting resources inside the game,  but that didn't seem to work.

Does rar have a better compression rate than zip?  If so, that might be something to look into.

P.S.  For saluk's question, that is not a bug.   There is a specific thing you have to do in order to get off the boat, but I don't know how to write the spoiler thing so other people won't see it.

   As far as getting items that you need, the game won't let you move to another section unless you have them all.  I have played way too many games that let you move on without getting the stuff you needed and sometimes you got stuck.  I told myself that I wouldn't do that to people.

Also, for the other things you mentioned, there is only two that are important- by playground and by tavern.  The thing where you can die, there are two ways to do that.  Use one of the items you found by tavern and give that to the guy.

As far as the game itself goes, I did have the names over
the hotspots, but took them out because I felt they were too
distracting.  I know a lot of people don't like to pixel-hunt, so
I tried to put as many hints as possible without actually giving
away the answers.  

If anyone does get stuck, there is a
walk-through in the tips/ hints section of my website.

You don't know how much I appreciate this alternative link.  My host provider has got me so frustrated that I felt like my game was never going to be working right.

If anyone has a good place to host large files, please let me know.

The Treasured Medallion.zip could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Sorry about that, but I'm not sure what that error is referring to.  I tried the download and have opened it up on two different computers and is doing fine with the new link.

I double checked the download and it is working perfectly from my website, but is having problems from the AGS site.

EDIT: I am taking off my link due to techical difficulties with my website provider. Hopefully I can get it working again soon.

I will check this out about the download being corrupted.  Thanks for letting me know.
