Double-Gratz Ghost.

And also: well done to all MAGS participants.

Liking the game so far, but I'm stuck!
Spoiler
I'm in the hotel trying to get past the French guy.  I'm trying to get in the 'door' which is a hotspot, but whn I click on it the game tries to take me in room 70 or takes me around the corner into the French guy's vision
[close]

Spoiler
There's a closet near the front that you have to duck into when the guy's not looking

SHADOW

Spoiler
Yeah, that's what I mean. When I click on the closet door the game thinks I've clicked on the area behind it, which is room 70  There must be a knack to it I've tried clicking on practically every pixel on that door and he won't go in it :/
[close]
Well,
Spoiler
The correct way is: stay where you are where you start in the room with Rondelle, select the wrench as mousepointer and then click on the door (the one with hotspot 'door' close to Rondelle) with the wrench.
When you use the walk icon (the big cross) instead you can end up in front of the door of room nr.74 (the 1st small hallway to your right) or room n2.70 (Mrs. Thompson, the 2nd small hallway to your right).
The hotspot isn't recognized when using the walk-icon because you can only use the use-icon (wrench) on the correct door to enter the closet. And that's indeed the situation you've encountered

:)

EDIT:
@Stupot+: after posting I noticed you already found the solution.

Congrats on this release, miguel and team  :)

Sweet that would be perfect and awesome, Arj0n! :)

I added a pin for the east central station where I will arrive (it's pin C): http://goo.gl/maps/gGba0

It is pretty much exactly on the way! If you can aim to be there at 1:30, as you said, that'd be great! I have your phone number and you have mine, so if my train is delayed or whatever, we can get in touch!

Does that sound good?
Seems OK to me DKH.
So we'll meet you at point C (Erich-Steinfurth-StraàŸe), not at point B (Sixt Car Hire Berlin Central Train Station) so point B can be skipped/removed from the route, right?

@Arj0n: You're at the central station, I'm at east! :p But I can take a train from east to central to meet up with you there, they seem to be travelling 10 minutes every 5 or so, so no big deal. When do you think you'll be at Berlin central station roughly on Saturday?

Then we also can drive straight to the east side of the station in stead of 'the wrong side', if I can find that 'east side' ;)
And since we are by car we can set our own start time, so if you do like to join us on from that airport we can recalculate the trip length and pick you up at (roughly) about 1:30? At the east side? :)

Here's our gmaps route if I used the proper address for the train station: http://goo.gl/maps/EQxsL

Well, looks like Berlin East Train Station is (or is close to) Sixt Car Hire Berlin Central Train Station, Europaplatz, Berlin, Duitsland and that's on our route, so we could pickup max 2 people...

Congrats on the re-release of this lovely game.

'Punk with Wheels' went through several rounds of polishing.
So for those who tried this game before and weren't able to continue/finish it:
You should really give it another try now ;)

Milieuvignet for the car has been ordered.
I think we're gonna aim to arrive at the villa between 14:00 and 15:00.
We are able to pickup max 2 persons from the 'Berlin Schoenefeld SXF Airport' since it's kinda on our route, so if needed let us know.

I will look into this Dirk, thnx for the info.

hugos house of horror (was this even DOS?)
I remember a game called centipede or milipede, it's like snake with more action
and find a C64 emulator for DOS :D

awesome tumblr!
- Hugo's House of Horror is DOS indeed (although there's a windows version too)
- Centipede is for the ZX81 only and Milipede is for the Commodore (PET/CBM) only. The first DOS (pc-booter though) version was 'The Exterminator', a clone of Centipede.

The Rumpus Room / Vintage software
Sat 13/07/2013 15:50:25
In stead of games, anyone here who also still own old vintage software?
If so, share a photo  :)

Still got this one on the shelf: Broderbund Software's BannerMania from 1989.
Used this program quite a lot for school projects back when I was about 14 years old.

But he has taken (or ripped, to be precise) characters from a mobile Larry game which I believe was a commercial release.

So, I am wondering (...) can I release it as commercial too?
A commercial game with ripped graphics from a commercial game?  (wrong)

It's been asked before, take a look here

Ok, well if the other entrants don't mind, then it's cool.
But, I'd still say that in future entries should be made only with AGS.
Your decision is probably (also) based on the comments here about it?
I'm really glad you've decided to let this one through once.
And because of this, a clear statement with attention is now made that mags projects should always be created in AGS.

Could you keep the voting open until after OROW? I have only played one of the games yet...
I also need to play 2 of these...

Can you just make this MAGS a special MAGS edition, say a MAGS-OECBYO (Monthly Adventure Game Studio - Or Engine Created By Your Own), so this one could be allowed at least for once?
He's put quite some effort in this game specifically for this competition.
And hey, it would make a this MAGS a pretty unique MAGS edition :)

Otherwise, still a nice job Calin.
