Has anyone heard/experienced EXE's not loading with Win 7, particularly large ones (up to 1gb) - or freezing the OS on attempting to run/right click it? In this particular case it's an install file. I haven't found much about it and don't use Win 7 but I've been asked again recently and thought I'd ask amongst expert EXE clickers Thanks!

Sometimes it might help to run the exe as admin (rightmousebutton) instead of just clicking them with the left mousebutton.

I collect only vintage adventure games. Got about 70 of them, but every single one is an original big box release (no Kixx, white label etc.)

I mainly collect real oldies (vintage), as in games released from 1994 and older.
Love the pc-booter ones too, played them all (from my list) back in the old days

Playing Bioluminesence but I'm stuck and not sure if this is a bug or part of a puzzle-thingy...:

After finding the key and entering the now open door in the 'captains log room', I clicked on the player to make the room dark.
But then:
- Two yellow switch-room arrows are shown but clicking on them doesn't do anything.
- Clicking anywhere in the room (yellow mousepointer everywhere) doesn't lighten up the room back again.

Let's say I'm using a 10-frame long door animation. 3 doors in every room and 100 rooms in the game. Does AGS actually see that as 3,000 single pictures instead of just the 10 from the animation? (and does my question make sense?).
