[I need someone living in the USA where I can ship this item to and this person then need to forward/send it to me...]

I want to buy an item from amazon.com but unfortunately amazon won't allow it to be shipped to the Netherlands 
(because: [quoting amazon] "it is software and may not be compatible with systems in other parts of the world.")

A solution they suggest is: to find someone in the US who can forward it to me. Otherwise there may be a forwarding service available.

So, is there anyone around here from the USA who can help me out here?

Yeh, done that already and asked him if the item can be shipped to my country.
No answer received yet.

If possible buy the same item from another seller?

I wish I could but this hard-to-get vintage item is only available from 1 seller worldwide... :-(

There's an item on amazon.com I would like to buy.
But when finishing the order I got the following message:

"We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order."

But when I look at the seller info, it states:

My country listed as "shippable" but when I want to buy the item it shows the message "can't ship to address"...

I would say though that traditionally we've said that if space is short, friends and partners have a lower priority than established AGSers.  If Chris Jones wants to come, but his space has been taken up by your girlfriend, she's going to have to stay at home!

That's completely understandable AGA.
But when she should have to stay home I most probably would stay home too.
That would create another place for a second gf for you AGA

My first thought after looking at the 4 examples:

I like the 1st one the most.
The text not being shown in such grey block as done in the 2nd and the 3rt creates more a bit more calmness.
This causes the painting (in the 1st one) being slightly more on the foreground in relation to the text.

The 4th one could be interesting, but what I don't like is that the painting and the block behind it are having the same grey tint.
Somehow that doesn't match well enough for me.

But then, that just my opinion

The best (and safest) way is to go to an apple store, explain the story and see what they can do for you (remove the security code).

You can't connect properly to i-tunes with a locked pc.
There seems to exist tricky ways to remove a code but if that works, you have the risk of getting the iphone reset to original mode, in other words, dataloss...
