Instead of uploading the extended version already you might post one or two screenies of the extended edition in order to not spoil/give away to much of the new edition?
I really hope you can find a team member for the backgrounds.

Really enjoyed the first part (playing and testing) so please don't give up on this extended edition.

Well, I've re-installed Win7Pro and removed my partition to get a clean install.
Then I downloaded and run the Win8-Manager again.
I filled in the product key and it was accepted.

@Bici:
Yes, I know. But that will be my last option.
I hope there are more ways to fix this...

@Anian:
Yep, did these step. My win7 was completely updated.

---
I'm first gonna download and run the win8 installation manager again in stead of booting from the iso created by ther win8 installer...
Looks like that iso is more a recovery disc then a complete clean installation disc.

So I bought and installed the upgrade version of win8 (which is the "Downloadable Pro for $39.99 ERP") on my win7pro machine.
After (or during) the install I created the win8 image file.

I now need to reinstall it so I booted this image (from dvd)
It collects info (step 1) and during step 2 it asks for the product key.
The problem: it won't accept my product key!
Did I made any typo's: no.

Did anyone had this same issue or does someone know what to do now?

I didn't try the next 2 options because now I still have win8 running and option 2 might result in not getting win8 installed at all...:
1. download the win8 manager from the official site and run it
2. reinstall win7pro and download the win8 manager from the official site and run it

??

General Discussion / Vintage vs. Retro
Wed 31/10/2012 11:17:31
I often see these 2 words used for game collection
As in (for example): Vintage Games Collection or Retro Games Collection

But I wonder: what is the exact definition of Vintage and Retro?

So far I think the definitions are as something like this:
Vintage: 20 years old or older.
Retro: Something that looks like something from an older time period (but can be new as in produced in this time period).

Is that correct? Any thoughts?

I was just wondering how it's possible to do that since I never provided a translation file.
It is possible to translate an AGS game just using the .exe file?
Done by using a hex-editor.
You can just translate any text (but a line of text cannot be bigger then the original amount of characters of such line).

You could use global variables (int), x and y for each room.
(like r1x, r1y, r2x, r2y, etc).

When leaving a room  you can store the players current x and y into the corresponding global variable.
(like "r1x = 50;" & "r1y = 400;")

When entering a specific room you can use the stored x and y to place the player where he left that room.
(like player.ChangeRoom(1, r1x,  r1y);)
