I don't get it.

The dwarf is gone with the money so I can't buy anything yet to bypass the cat...
The problem is I can't find the witch house which should be west/left.
Where exactly is that witch house located??

EDIT:
OK, found it. I forgot you can also go west from the thievery shop, stupid me... ;D

Thanx anyway Tempe-pipercombs

Ah! The little bugger got away from me! LOL How do I get him?

That's another question that was answered earlier in the thread...
How do I get back to the witch?
The witch was in a place before the treehouse/jail and I can't go back in the treehouse...

Critics' Lounge / Re: AGSArchives.com design

The main page could use a fancy top banner telling the visitor what the site is/offers, something like:
"AGSArchives - The AGS Games Depot"
or
"AGSArchives - All AGS Games archived"

[cough]ok, I'm not that good in making up slogans...[/cough]

I can say for sure that Gorthor of the Cave People was the first game released that used the Windows editor.
Nice fact! Added to the list:)

I know of these 3:

Quest for Orgy - So You Thought She Is A Virgin
Quest for Orgy - So You Want To Be A Porn Star
Quest for Orgy - Sodom, Graham and Gomorra

I only have the 1st one which is sort of 1 room joke-game...

- I see you brought in the character from the last MAGS, nice  ;D
OROW VI ;)

Cute little game Joel, reminded me of the original versions of the first 2 King's Quests.
Nostalgic memories... :)

Added 4 ancient hourgames to the Quest list:

Ninja Quest to the Quest-list: Ninja Quest by Ghormak [2002-03].
Kikme Quest [2002-12]
Interresting Basket Quest [2002-11]
Annoying Quest [2003-05]

Most used noun in [database and non-database] game titles "Quest": in 146 AGS game titles.

This here says Lassi Quest is late '99.

http://en.academic.ru/dic.nsf/enwiki/499552

So do a few other sources, some of which seem to have the exact same text but this is the first in the google results I spotted.

And has anybody asked visy for counter proof or have you just ruled over the whole deal?

My next step is indeed to ask Visy about this.
Also because in my opinion such documents like you posted ]http://en.academic.ru/dic.nsf/enwiki/499552]are not really proof worthy. Only Visy's answers can clear up questions for me.

Still this is a strange fact:

But how can you then explain that Lassi Quest uses the character from Alles Euro. That guy that I "open sourced" after my release.
Another proof is that Visy imported Lassi (who I named Mac) without blocking the palette, hence the strange colours.

But I like to make clear that I'm not doing this to change the well know fact on this forum/community that Lassie Quest should be the 1st ags game ever.
So sorry if I'm stepping on someone's toes... :-[
I did this only for the 'ags facts' which Peder asked for... Thats all. :)

Good news - I've archived my complete ac folder back in February 2000. So here's the final proof:

www.sonores.de/temp/ac.zip

Inside you'll also find my first (compiled) test game ever, dating November 99.

Enjoy :D

PS. I also have Alles Euro as an installer - but this ancient ac folder is much more interesting and contains TEH SOURCE  :=
A-w-e-s-o-m-e-!
And thanx, this one goes into my ags games museum in a special glass case ;)

B.t.w.: All 3 games run smooth on XP and after setting the soundcard to 'autodetect' even the music and sfx works ok. :)

test = indy-looking-guy test game [1999-11-29]
demo = demo quest [1999-12-29
pu = alles euro [2000-02-01] => 2000-02: so now you've officially beaten "Lassi Quest" being the proven 1st evah AGS game :D

Questions out of curiosity:
Does the indy-looking-guy test game got a 'real' name?
Where stands PU for?
Is this PU/'alles euro' version the complete game or a game in it's beta phase?
Has the other two demo's/test games ever been completed?

Thanx again Mr. Hochrotations-zerstäuber!
