Try to run the screen resolution of your PC at 1280x1024.

Use these settings for duzzquest by running "Config" from the DuzzQuest2 entry in your windows start menu:

-Activate "Run in a window instead of full screen"
-Graphics driver: DirectDraw 5
-graphics filter: 2x nearest-neighbour filter.
-Smooth scaled sprites [this is an optional setting not necessary]

Then it will run almost like a fullscreen... ;)

@Alla:
Screen is to small? Screen of the game or the screens in the first post ???
And this game isn't that hard to solve without a WT... ;)

Good to see it works on your desktop now!
Laptops are always a bit tougher to solve when there's a problem.

And while playing this creepy gamedemo while having 3 ferets running crazy scaring the crap out of ya is still better then playing this on your bed with just 2 cats ;) :P

Let me know if you going to grab the full version.

Happy Downfalling ;D

I've played the full game, it AWESOME.
I definitely can recommend you this game.
But check the demo and you will see for yourself  ;) ;D

I'm 1680 by 1050 pixels on the desktop by the way.
Thankyou so much for all your help!
I think that's the problem. Try change it to 1280x1024 and i guess you will be able to run fullscreen....
1680x1050 is a bit high according to the resolution of the gamesetting you want to use....

And your welcome ;)

You can also try run it as:
windowed, 1280x960, 2x nearest-neighbour filter, or
windowed, 960x720, 3x nearest-neighbour filter, or
windowed, 640x480, 2x nearest-neighbour filter.

The 1st option above is the best.

So, is it common for this game to refuse to run in fullscreen then?  It's not just me? xD
Right now it runs fine windowed, just the window is TINY!
It runs perfect in fullscreen at my desktop pc, so no, it's seems not to be common...
I'm also able to run the game at 1280x960 full screen...

Let me know if the codec pack solve anything... ;)
I'm running my pc at 1280x1024 using a simple nvidia graphics card

@ die_to_xxx
I'm able to run it 1280x960 windowed without any problem.
Do you have a proper codec pack installed? I use the K-lite codec pack.
I'm not sure if this is the solution but maybe you can check this out?

Land Of The Dead, Dawn Of The Dead.
Nah, I prefer Shaun Of The Dead.

Still have to watch Zombieland...

Somehow I miss a classic coat rack.
Maybe put it in the room with the desk, in the corner [not the corner with the candle but the other one].
Or when that makes the screen too busy, maybe in the hallway.

Something like this one:

Yea I've seen it. Went in not expecting much, but came out pleasantly surprised. Very good comedy, would recommend it to anyone!
Yup.

It's about the movie, not the poster.
The poster is only there to let you quickly recognize the movie...

Gilbert, how can this happen:

I was testing a demo which uses 4 ogg files. They did play using D3D9 but didn't play using DX5.
Using DX5 causes a frozen black screen.

Game resolution: 1024x768.

Video Analyses:
Video1:   5.00 Mb,   6000 Kbps, 29.970 fps, res. 720*480 (4:3),  MPG2 = MPEG 2 (SVCD/DVD)
Video2:      26 Mb, 31418 Kbps, 29.970 fps, res. 720*480 (4:3),   dvsd = Sony Digital Video
Video3:      26 Mb, 31419 Kbps, 29.970 fps, res. 720*480 (4:3),   dvsd = Sony Digital Video
Video4: 12.33 Mb, 34487 Kbps,     25.0 fps, res. 720*576 (4:3),   dvsd = Sony Digital Video

Thanx  ;)
