Nice one again, Peder & writers. ;-D

P.s.:
Spoiler

The November issue contains 2 wrong links:

* 'The legend of Oak Island' links to 'Calvin'
* 'The Three Piggies a Remediation' links to 'Scary Maze Halloween 2016'

Nice, downloading.

Wow, Daniel, that's a blast from the past! I remember testing this back in the end of 2013 :)

Easily one of the best games ever created using ags.
And not only because of the awesome hi-res graphics and animations and effects, but also because of several very well thought-out puzzles this game contains.

And yes, although considered a demo, this gem could easily be considered being a small but full game.

Sad news there will be no full game (covering all acts) but:
awesome to see you guys still have taken the time and effort to wrap up en bring us a demo covering act 1 after all! :-*

selmiak Thank you! (nod)
Matsui Improving the game experience by eating foam bananas sweets while playing this banana game, awesome ;-D
Cassiebsg Yep, added a quick 'n simple score. And woops, guess I was the one who went bananas while changing the gui that contains the health level.
The label was a bit too small and forgot to check that before uploading v1.5. :-D Fixed and re-uploaded (still v1.5).

Was there any significance to the rock and lifesaver in the bottom corners? I didn't see any controls for them and couldn't figure out what they were for.

Spoiler

The rock and the titanic lifesaver were added for decoration pupose.
Otherwise the bottom part of the screen seemed a bit dull to me ;)

the term "overflow error" usually means the game is attempting something a ridiculous amount of times without being able to escape from the loop...

Not in this case. Which is a good thing, this issue is easy enough to fix ;-D

In short:
until agssave.099.monkey is created, you can manually create new savegames.
after that you cannot do that anymore.
You can still overwrite an existing one of course ;)

Repro steps:
Spoiler

01. no 'Monkeys to the Moon' save game directory exists, or otherwise remove it
02. load game first time,
03. savedir + file agssave.999.monkey is auto-created.
04. select [Start] to play game,
05. select [build], select [Save],
06. type a name (eg. '1') and select [Save],
07. select [Quit & Save],
08. file agssave.099.monkey is now auto-created.
09. select [start] to play game again,
10. select [save].
11. both savefiles 'AutoSave' and '1' are listed now.
12. remove the suggested save game name and name it for ex. '2'.
13. select [save] (it doesn't matter which savefile was selected),
14. "Save game directory overflow" msg is shown.

EDIT:
or, what CW says ;) (sorry for the 'double post', did saw someone posted before my post (which took some time to change some repro steps), also didn't got a 'warning' notice when posting)

The "Save game directory overflow" error seem to be given only by the built-in savegame dialog, when there is a save number above 90.

xBRANEx: Thank you Sir!
Blondbraid: Barbie-pink does rule indeed! ;)

Danvzare: Yes, these are original backgrounds. I'm using the backgrounds from the DOS version and also from the Amstrad CPC version. I do have to alter them all cause I got rid of the timing mechanism which sucked in the original version. In stead of that I've added a simple score system like the early Sierra quests. Besides that, the parser output in the original version was shown below the parser player input, which is now shown as a centered popup display. The inventory box had to be slightly altered too.
All this is needed to let everything fit properly the way I'm remaking it :)

Played them all and voted :)
Thank to all the contestants for the great entries!

A remake of an old French-only adventure game I've secretly been working on.
Yep, a textparser game ;)
The blue-ish area on the right-side is the inventory box.

Nice little game!
Would have helped if
Spoiler
the cursors and items would have a little cross-hair. It's sometimes really hard to find the exact interaction spot... Maybe you can still add that? It's only a small adjustment but also a huge improvement :)
