Comments/feedback are always welcome! As now there is a bit of a dichotomy between the Awards categories and the DB; at the first database revamp opportunity I'll try to sneak the appropriate modification in!
I'm sure you guys can work something out ;)

Tiny downside is, these crossed out intruders are lost votes in away. Votes that could have been gone to other games, not from the intruder category.
But hey, it is indeed the easiest way :)

Mhhh I am not sure I am following you precisely. There is no limit to the number of games you can nominate, so those votes are lost but wouldn't impact your other choices.
E.g. if I nominate Red Hot Overdrive, ACRONYM and A Golden Wake for "Best Non Adventure", AGW is not considered but that wouldn't impact your other choices.
Or not?
Well bici, IMHO it does impact the choice and might even have a slight impact on the final outcome. I'll try to explain it following your example:

1. I voted AGW as "Best Non Adventure"
2. The vote for AGW as "Best Non Adventure" gets lost.
3. This vote would not have gone lost if I would have chosen another game that IS correctly from the "Best Non Adventure".
4. So that 'other game' now does miss a change to get a vote from me...

As long as there are 'lost votes' there are games that could have got more votes and thus this system does 'slightly, very slightly' influence the outcome of the total votes per game and therefor the final rankings.

Note(!):
I'm *not* nitpicking on the chosen voting system with lost votes at all, and it's also *not* something I'm pushing to be changed, I was just wondering about this.... :)

but it is easier to let people vote and cross out the intruder.

Isn't Mage's Initiation an AGS game?
Yeah, you're probably right, it seems that they at least started the devlopment in AGS, although their forum thread hasn't been updated since 2013.

It still is.

Great little game, LTD & team!
Thanx for making this, really enjoyed it.

Spoiler

I also missed that hatch hotspot.
But had no pixel hunting issue whatsoever with the lunar panels' puzzle, as being mentioned.

The Colonel's Bequest - An in-depth comparison between the graphics used in the demo vs. the released game.

The demo of The Colonel's bequest seem to contain several 'beta-phase' graphic items which were later changed in the released game.

On closer inspection, all kinds of items from the demo like backgrounds, portraits objects and walkcycles/characters
seem to have tiny little differences compared to the same in the released game, version 1.000.046.

Read it all   >HERE<   :)

You're not a smart man like me. I'm moving to Neptune for a longer year 8-)

To prove you're a real smart man you'll have to finish Epoch asap! :P

Exhibit #37: Microsoft Adventure v1.00 (PC Booter - 1981)

The first commercial PC version (port) of the first ever mainframe adventure game named 'Colossal Cave Adventure,' from the '70s.
Microsoft Adventure was released together with the initial version of MS DOS 1.0 as a launch title for the IBM PC in 1981 which makes Microsoft Adventure the first ever commercial game for the PC.
Funny thing: releasing DOS 1.0 together with - not a DOS game but - a PC-Booter game... ???:-D
Microsoft Adventure is a text adventure containing 130 rooms, 15 treasures, 40 useful objects and 12 problems to solve. :=

Ha, cool :)

This edition does have some differences though compared to the original 1989 edition.
Some puzzles are improved, one example is the 'whiskey/remote control' puzzle, which
is said by Al himself as being the worst puzzle part in the whole game and the first
thing he would have improved.

So I took such advise, and did improve some stuff. With the help of my awesome testing-
team members Tabata, CW and Cassiebsg by the way, who also on demand perform as
an incredible useful advise-crew for game-flows and puzzles. For which I'm grateful.

It's coming along well now.
I had the slots machines already working and skipped working on the blackjack table since I first wanted the game be playable from start to finish.
So this afternoon I've added the blackjack table which is technically working properly now.
It's still using placeholders and some custom 'debug' info though, as you can see, but that's only fine-tuning ;)

Awesome little adventure and great voice-acting everyone. Very well done!

Nice, feels like a hybrid between a regular platformer and an 'endless runner'.
But the controls... seems I can't get used to it well enough not to die so many times out of all tries :( So gave up after almost beating L2.

Nice game though, and always love it when a non-adventure game pops up in the running mags series (still remember andrea's team's racing game)
