I had a problem with something like that a while ago. I didnt fix it, I ended up reformatting, but that is annoying. Search around, cos I know there is solutions. Try and find one of the programs listed above, as I remember reading a thread somewhere and something like that fixed someones problem.

Anyways, I'd reccomend switching to Firefox. Since I have done that my amount of spyware detected by Adaware/Spybot has been almost none. For example, I used to scan every week and would get like 10 or more problems. Since going to Firefox, I'd remebered today that I hadn't done a scan for like months. I scanned today, and adaware found only 3 bad cookies, and Spybot found nothing. That was sweet.

They are nice pictures Flippy. I especially like the bottom one. True, if you did have a better camera, they would've probably turned out better, but they still turned out alright,

Well it is kinda dark at the moment, but that might be becaue of the nighttime, its kinda hard to tell. But seriously it was raining fairly well tonight, but it seems to have stopped.

Anyway, they are some nice pictures you took. I havn't been to most of those places. We go camping at Forster/Tuncurry every year. It's a nice place, and it is good for camping. That beach sorta thing in the background of that Tuncurry pic (with the pelicans) is this cool island. You have to swim to get there and theres this beach. Its quite a cool place.

I have also been to Surfers Paradise. We stayed at a caravan park thingy probably just behind those skyscrapers. It was strange on the beach. You look one way and there is the nice ocean, and its all pleasant, and you turn around and there are these big skyscrapers. It kinda spoils the beauty of the place.

Byron Bay hey... yeah I've only been there on the way up to QLD on our big holiday there. It does have that reputation of being a hippie town... we didnt stay long.

Heh, I can see that that view won't be very much liked around here. I don't agree, but that is your opinion I guess. Sure the interface isn't as great as other games, but it had awesome graphics, wacky humour, and a cool plot that fit with the theme of the game.

I highly doubt anyone would misspell "that" as "taht" while writing a letter. Try going for more logical misspelling, like "mispelling" instead of "misspelling". Misspellings that occur from being bad at grammar, not typing.

Looks good, but I'm not sure on the misspelling of taht's. That is usually misspelt on the computer due to fast typing, but I am quite certain that it wouldn't have the same effect if written on paper.

Mine is my first name written backwards with the 'J' upsidedown. I used to just have my username as josh, but it was boring, so I decided I needed a sorta nickname. Somehow I came up with auhsor, and it wsn't to bad, so I stuck with it.

Yeah it was nice. I was expecting more, but yeah. I wouldv'e liked it to have a bit of plot and explanations, but a cool animated credits thing will have to suffice.

1. I changed my avatar to something from Homestar Runner, but changed it to something else when I thought I was being an incessant fanboy.

Yes you are wrong. I did have strongbad as my avatar for a while, but took it off for the same reason. The only other person I remember having an avatar from homestarrunner is Minimi, but as has been said, he's gone.

Yeah I've been looking foreward to todays comic. It should be good I hope, as there seems to be alot of loose ends that still need tying up.

Sounds awesome. Personally, I would love to see the Monolith Burger place, but if not that, then the junk heap at the start of the game.

This reminds me. I love the space quest series, but have not really played SQ6. I downloaded a little bit ags, but havn't really had the time to play it.

Sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure if SQ1 would be the best game to remake as it has been remade by Sierra to use the mouse. Your idea is a bit different, but yeah I still think another game would be more needed(?) of another remake. SQ3 for example, but I think that was being remade, although I havn't heard news on that for a long time.

Oh its actually called the Blue Cup, not a coffee mug . I remember a thread a while ago about the mascot/logo of AGS. It was mentioned that newbies would be confused by thee bluecup. I guess they were right.

Its cool, it reminds me alot of Space Quest 5. I'm assuming your putting like stars in the window.

I think It's really nice and would serve as a detailed logo. A more simpler logo that is smaller and B&W (not much/no grey) would serve more as a typical logo, but this would be very good as sort of an introduction fade in sort of thing. You could also have credits along the right scrolling etc.

I would like to see just a hint of red in the rose. That would impact me more than just black petals. Kind of a deep blood red. Also reduce a little of the glare/brightness of the light source, but still keep the same lighting. If that makes sence. ie, just reduce the size of that big white blob on the left.

Yeah I ahve been here for about 3 years. I'm not much of a poster, but everyday I check out the forums and see if anything interesting is happening. People probably don't notice me so much, but that doesn't really matter I guess. I tend to just blend in in real-life too. I don't participate in too many discussions, but I enjoy reading them. The reson I come here is the community I feel here, and the interests of the people here. I check out a few other forums, but I never spend as much time on them as I do here.

One day I might make a game that has more quaity of the game I made when I first found AGS. I feel that I don't really have time to make games, but I have time to go on these forums. I guess reading forums requires less brainwork, and Is a way to relax from long days at uni.

Cool. Hmm this is something that annoys me, and I have noticed rtf, as well as Dragonrose havn't done it... Right click on the taskbar and click Lock Desktop, or something similar. Makes things so much cooler .
