Downloading now. Incase you didn't know, the torrent doesn't work in µTorrent. I havn't tried Azureus as I uninstalled it a little while ago.

I use multiply. Its a similar sort of concept but to me it seems much less corporate. Also, the focus is not on how many 'friends' you can add, but building current relationships with people you know.
If anyone was interested, the link to my site is here

It's cool to see how the sprite has progressed. The only thing I can suggest now is to add another shade to his face. It stands out too much for me.

I might have a shot at this one. Don't hold me on it tho.

May I me the first to say welcome back. You may not recognise me but oh well, I remember you.

uTorrent is really small and really fast. I suggest using it in case you were ever looking for an alternative.
Agreed! It is like only 96 kB and uses an average of maybe 6 MB of memory. It's developing pretty fast and it's just nice.

I think its amusing seeing the situation Sony is in, but I can't help but feeling that they will get away with it all somehow. If you read here you can see how Sony blatantly lie about what their 'harmless' copy protection does. Read all the comments too, they get quite interesting and further provide proof of the case against sony.

Oh and something interesting I learned from reading the comments:
"Ohyea, another thing. This DRM system uses a blacklist to filter out what applications can and what can't read the CD. So, this doesn't protect the CD, but rather intends to break the listed software. To verify, use your hexeditor and you can locate the following list yourself:
http://hack.fi/~muzzy/sony-drm-magic-list.txt

If you want a more concrete proof, try to rename your favourite ripping software as $sys$whatever.exe and then run it again. You'll notice that the DRM system can no longer detect it, and thus you'll get good copy of the track you try to rip instead of one filled with noise."

Well I suggest looking at a few tabs and just messing around with it. Some advice: Don't give in too early if a song is hard. Stick with it and keep practicing. Even put it a side but come back to it later, you will be surprised with how much better you are.

I think I learnt alot by just leaving my guitar near the tv so everytime I was watching stuff I would play around on the guitar - but that doeas annoy other people watching btw.

I strongly suggest getting Guitar Pro because it is very helpful for learning songs, as you can see how they are played and can listen to the instruments. You can get tabs for it at here. I think the demo version only allows you to view 20 bars, so if you like it you should buy it.

Also, I havn't really gone to the site or done any of the lessons, but my brother really reccomends this site for lots of lessons, including ones for beginners.

I actually played squash on tuesday... The first time I've played sport in about two years... My muscles are still hurting, but I think I might make it a weekly occurance because it's a fun game.

I can see a flaw with the second point. If you steal someone elses information and have a magazine or whatever delivered to your address, the person beind debited is probably going to see that and it can be traced back to you.

Oh yeah, Lesiure Suit Larry has one of the best themes around :)

Looks nice. I think the only thing that really bothers me is that her left foor needs to turn a bit more. Either that or the heel of her left foot needs to be made smaller.

I always loved the Space Quest theme. Also the Grim Fandango soundtrack is great although I can't recall just one theme song.

Yep, thats what I was trying to say :)

I saw the trailer for it tonight and it looked pretty good. I'll be sure to check a few reviews when it seems like coming down here.

They're not dead. In the Kings Quest Demise forum, the owner said he got a letter, and it's a little too late for april fool's day jokes. He even linked to his own website! This was after the message on the site was posted, which means they're under complete rennovation. They're still alive, just doing some stuff that they don't want to post. Fear not; they will rise again. ;)

Hehe I remember the Chis this because that was my friend doing it. It was funny seeing it from the other side as he was writing it too. It's given me a good chuckle looking back.

I think the good old days are always going to be relative to who you are and when you joined. I remember coming at the time 2.2 was out. I had a go of it and asked a bunch of questions in the old ezboard forums. I never did finish that game (or any since :/). I also remember setting aside a whole afternoon to read the manual... Those was fun times. I don't remember heaps of the ezboard days, but I do remember reading the whole Secret of Monkey Island post and wanting to post, but not wanting to ruin the topic by writing something stupid.

I also remember when I first discovered that the forum had more than one boad... ie not just a technical forum. That was a big day for me :P I only remember the topic Pepsi vs Coke.

So yeah I guess the community goes throught stages and It's all good. One day I might even finish a game.
