Yeah do we actually get to invite people?

QuoteUtilising the same AGS (Adventure Game Studio) engine as the original King's Quest games
Maybe they meant the same interface. Or maybe they meant the remake of the first. Hmm

Just thought that I might add that I read your comics and enjoyed them muchly. Spent last night looking for other Manga cartoons. Some nice stuff there.

I like the second one. Except for that little bit sticking out. It looks like some abnormal growth, but I do like the 'burns. Thats if they are burns, its a bit blurry to tell.

Oh and are you aware that there is a person on these forums also called Redrum... I'm gonna be pretty confused now. At least your avatars are pretty different.

3 times in a row like you just did
4 times :P

Oh and try and use gif/jpg for the forums. I see that you have done that for your last post and that is good. They take up less space. Also try using the [ img] [ /img] tags (without those spaces, so we can see the picture without having to open a new page.

Comments on the pic: I like how you have progressed. You definately have made huge improvemens, and I love the new sprite but the hands look a little too big, especially on the back view.

Well I totally agree with eric, especially with Larry Vales, or more specifically LV2/3-demo. The LV games were the first one that I did play when I discovered AGS. I spent so long playing LV and loved it. I loved the humour, the way it was all put together, and most importantly the graphics. That is the syle I tried to emulate when I made my own game, which I didn't fifnish, but you get the point. The style may be simplistic, but it is an awesome style that is consistent through the game. I can't agree with people who say the graphics are bad, but I can respect their opinion. It has been years since I played LV2, but I still remember quite alot of the game, and the graphics.

The same goes for Pleurburgh. Sure the graphics may seem simplistic, but there is detail in the backgrounds, and a nice style for the characters. I think the side view of the characters was the only thing that mildly annoyed me about the graphics. And I played this game before the awesome close ups were added.

Bah! Don't go to england, you will never see the sun again, you will lose any tan you have and the people there talk in strange accents. They also use some weird currency over there.

I guess you'll be closer to CJ tho, and many other AGS'ers

Handball sounds to be a pretty cool game. We don't get it here in Australia. Me and my family went to see a game live at the Sydney Olympics, and it was really enjoyable. I rekon they should start it up here.

Oh yeah and congratulations to Croatia :)

Not happening to me. Did you happen to change the font size settings in your browser. Does it happen for other pages?

An equally appropriate question would be "where is Scid"?

Argh, I was about to say the exact same thing in this thread. Now I'm gonna have to just quote it. What did happen to him? He was a pretty major forum guy here not too long ago. Oh well I guess people come and go.

Well this happens to my brothers computer. It just keeps restarting itself. We worked it out that it started happening when we put in his new 200GB harddrive. It's an old computer, so we figured that it was causing it to overheat. If we put a blow fan thingy onto it, it doesn't restart anymore.

I never thought about the ram being dodgy. Maybe it has something to do with that.

Critics' Lounge / Re: Blue Bird walk cycle
Sat 28/08/2004 14:38:41
The walkcycle is nice except for:
* For 1 frame, the legs seem to 'stick' on the ground
* The back arm, when it is coming foreward, it jerks foreward instead of being smooth like the other moverments.

But overall very nice, Tho I do miss the 2 eyes in the side view. I don't know if its needed tho.

Um it's nice, except for the lack of content. Only the about page has stuff in it.

Also, you already had a thread for this linked in your sig. Why start a new one?
