Completed Game Announcements / Re: Sword
Wed 09/06/2004 15:08:34
Nice work legge. Its not much of a game as such, but I'm sure its helped you a bit with getting to know AGS and everything. Hopefully you learn to animate things soon, that should be interesting.

In an attempt to stop piracy the RIAA have developed a 'super secure' way of preventing us from copying music. Only allow you to use music if oyu have your fingerprint... Heh, why do I think this isnt going to work?   ::)

I cannot see any kind of moustache, it looks like her lip to me. Oh well.
And I think the gumbyness of her legs is her right one is bent at a sorta funny angle. Well thats what I think.

Heh, I havnt played any of the Simon games, or the Discworld games... I was mostly a Sierra guy growing up, and then Lucasarts, with MM and DoTT.

I should play them one day.

When you first started on the ezine, it sounds bad, but I wasnt all that impressed. It was a word document, and didnt seem all that professional. Well that idea changed a couple of days ago when I actually went to the site, and saw that it was pretty good. I was very impressed with the layout and everything, so youve been doing good work.

If I had time, I would consider writing, but I'm not the best writer, and yeah, I dont have that much time atm. Sorry.

General Discussion / Re: Storytime.. The Game?
Sun 06/06/2004 12:22:00
This really is cool, I can see potential for this kind of story thing. I added some stuff to the grape story, but I might do more later.
#528
Yeah it would be nice if it was built in, and it hd been on the to-do list for a long time. BUt yeah it hasnt because there are workarounds. That doesnt mean we dont want it tho.

No don't listen to him... it is becoming shareware, and you should register. I know I have...

General Discussion / Re: the AGS forums
Sat 05/06/2004 03:17:25
I think im in what Czar is refering to as the Golden Age. Yes I'm on here everyday, and the first page I go to is the forums. I think its because I recently got my own computer and broadband, so i'm just always on the computer. I spend time on other forums, but not nearly as much as the ags ones. Oh well, I know I should be working on a game, but I''ve got uni to think about so I say that I don't have time, yet I'm still here on the forums... oh well.

Hmm, and  I didnt get what DG said... anyone want to explain?

Thats sounds like a pretty cool time your having a pretty cool time lgm. I wouldnt mind going overseas for a while, but I dont think thats gonna happen anytime soon.
Make sure you say: 'Nein das is mein hamburger' to someone... I know I would.

Well I've got uni exams this week... in fact i've got one today in about 4 hours... on a saturday?! It doesnt seem that fair ruining my weekend with an exam, but I can't really complain. I'll be able to tell you my results in a few weeks, but I've been going pretty well in my subjects, so hopefully its pretty good.

In my HSC (Australian NSW School thingy) I got 83.2 which I was happy in since I didnt really study at all.

Yeah its been on the to-do list for quite some time. Quite a long time actually. I think I requested it once upon a time, and it was already on the to-do list.

Yeah using masks is a way to do it, but yyeah I did find it hard to do properly and a zoom tool would be very useful.
Another way to do it, tho I havn't tried this, is to use the built in zoom thing in windows.
#537
Sounds good. I think... It would be nice to have it in english.

Oh and if you named the thread Monkey Island 2: Illusion "French game", more people would check it out i think.

Critics' Lounge / Re: background for C&C

That is an awesome background. Im not sure that I can see much wrong with it, except making some of the grass a bit more interesting.
You have an awesome style, and in some ways similar to Igors, which is a good thing.
#539
Another thing. I'm not sure if this is that imortant or can be changed, but I'll mention it anyway.
If you make an edit to your post and then change your name, it still has your old name as the person who edited the post.
