Interesting... Auhsor, any idea when he first put it up?
Judging by the site, i think it was yesterday. I'm downloading it now.

Yeah it was a good article. I get a feeling that we'll get a whole lot of n00bs, speaking 'adventure game language' that none of us know. Oh well.

I'd love to get my hands on those old games with the boxes and stuff. I've always thought myself deprived cos i've never got to get the stuff that comes in the game boxes, cos i've never really bought any games, and when they first came out i was a bit too young to think of buying them... Plus my brother just copied them from friends.
Maybe when i get a job one day, i might buy some stuff off there.

Heh, that looks cool. Gonna download now.

Hmm, i don't really know what voxels are, but i think i got an idea...

Thats cool. Those pictures are awesome. So it seems you are a professional artist. Thats heaps cool. Although i don't know anything about that spiderman thingy, it seems that they did get good artists. Hopefully the game can be just as good as the art. There are too many games out there with awesome art and not so good story etc.

That sounds pretty cool mods. I know i wouldn't be able to participate in the next 1.5 months cos of school, but after that i got about 3 months holiday, and would probably do it then.

General Discussion / Cool Flash Thingy
Tue 16/09/2003 08:43:13
Well, once again one of my friends at school found a cool flash site. I don't know if this has been mentioned before (I always seem to start new topics for already discussed things), but this is an awesome site.

www.happytreefriends.com

Very funny. Makes me want to buy the DVD's.

Well my brother gave me some today in the morning. It certainly helped me get up. Usually I get it from my mother in the afternoon. Once I gave it to my cat and she went fuckin' crazy!

Oh wait! we're talking about nescafe? sorry! I thought this was about sex...forget everything I said.

I'd have to be a total pervert to give nescafe to my cat.

Heh, that was one of the funniest things i've heard for a long time.

I believe the music for Pleurghburg (which I pronounce, and it seemed most at Mittens did too as 'Plurg-burg') was in XM format.
Heh. I've always pronounced it "flea - berg"

Also Apprentice had good music. And KQ2VGA.

Rode Quest 1 used a text parser. I think that it caused shawn a lot of grief, and heaps of people got stuck at a few certain points due to the parser. Get it at www.rodekill.com

But parsers can be cool.
