Thanks for the comment guys. Yeah, i'm a fan of progressive stuff, so i wanted to have a few different parts to it. Heh, i didnt think the drums were all that great, since i have not much experience at drums and that.  But i guess they did turn out alright.

When my brother buys his guitar, i'm thinkin of recording some proper stuff, which is why i wanted to use guitar, but i agree, guitars dont sound all that great on midi.

Heh, i havnt played castlevania. Maybe i should someday to get musical insperation... heh

Well i reckon now that i could do the music to my game, which i should finish/start making after i finish school (which is only 2 months away)

Space Quest III

Closely followed by grim fandango, but i think sq3 has more of a nosalgia thing coming into the equation which is why i like it so much. And its an awesome game.

Hmm, thats strange. It works for me. Is it the link or does the file not run?

I made it in guitar pro, so it might have done something funny with it...

Advanced Technical Forum / Re:Save/load thing

I think there was something in the knowledge base or a tutorial ages ago that i got. Someone else should be able to find it.

Short messages are usually better, as the user will probably receive them often, so having to click through 3 text boxes would be annoying.
#809
Yeah, i agree. I'm like obsessed with space quest and i'm surprised that i didnt notice it for so long.

Hmm, well i did check old threads from this forum, but i couldn't find any threads. This forum is for adventure game stuff afterall.

Well, its an AGI game set before the events of SQ1. The games been out for a while and it hasn't been mentioned here (as far as a know) so i thought i might. I only just heard about it, and downloaded it.

It seems to be a pretty cool game, although i've only just started it.

Check it out at http://wiw.org/~jess/replicated.html

Definately talk to someone. Get some help. Talk to your parents, a minister, a psycologist or something. I think that you do need some help.

Suicide is not the way out. You have to try and get past these thoughts. Talk to someone. Preferably in person, and not over the internet. Yeah, one of my frinds commited suicide a few weeks ago, and its made a big impact on my life and many others.

Yeah, thought i would pass on that advice.

Yup, the demo looks good.

I am defineately looking foreward to this as SQIII is probably my favourite adventure game.

I think the template should be included, cos a few people have had trouble with it. Or maybe there is a reason for its lack of presence.

The Rumpus Room / Re:Haiku maybe help?
Mon 18/08/2003 03:03:34
Never thought that haikus
Could be so much addictive
Hence no posts in thread

Today is the first
Day i have looked in this thread
Thoughts of Haikus changed

I look at page count
And decide it's time to check out
What all the fuss is

Well haikus are fun
And easy i must say now
For i'm writing here

May this thread never die
Cos it is so long and cool
Would be a crying shame

Maybe i should go study
For my HSC trials
Are on tomorrow

Havnt studied enough
But i am lazy and dont
Feel like it right now

But mum gets angry
And shouts, for my lack of study
Oh well, i must go

May this thread live on
And live to a ripe old age
Of 1000 posts.

Heh, i heard about homestarrunner a few months ago. One of my friends told us about it, and it quickly spread around the school. The trogdor one is probably one of my favourites.

Yeah... how good is my computer...
PIII 450
198 megs ram
Forgotten what video card...
CD burner (4X max if i'm lucky)
And everything else is just as bad

Basically about 8 years old... I wish i had some money, so i could get me a new one...

At least AGS runs fine.
