Just to make sure: you need to call from inside the station, but outside the office....

I've played again up till there and made 2 saves. One before and one after the phonecall..

With your saves, i tried

1) Restore the "before", look at poster, go out to the police entrance hall and call => still the bug
2) Restore again the "before", go out to the police entrance hall and call => i can call, but the call is not a prank: she does not want to disturb madji.
3) Restore the "after", go to madji's office: he is not present, it looks like for now i can continue.

I understand that you don't have more than one savegame? Can you send me yours (all you have) so I can have a look at it?

According to previous posts, some people didn't have the bug. I was asking if one of them could send me a game saved just before of after the "(bugged) phone call".

Many posts in this forum speaks about the bug that forbids you to phone policeman Madji, after seeing the poster in his office. Few people managed to finish the game... but did not tell how.

Context: you must phone Madji from inside the police station, but if you do so the game refuse, saying you must do so from inside the police station!!

1) I send a mail to the author of the game, but his e-mail is no more valid.
2) Exiting the police station and re-entering (many times) did not solve the problem.
3) Some people put a saved game on web sites, but the URLs are no more valid.
4) i restarted the game, based on a 2 walkthroughs, but i'm still stuck at the same location for the same bug.

I did the game again, but still stuck at the same place for the same reason.
No "groove" hotspot.

I'm stuck near the end of the game.
In the dark house, I opened the window, use it but cannot do more.

which says i must "Use the stick on the groove". Where is the groove? how do i find it?

I got this item, but had to restart the game.

Unable to find the "screw & bolt". According to posts in this forum, this item is supposed to be in the toolbox with the saw.
But i find only the saw. If i try again to search the toolbox => "There's nothing else you need from the toolbox".
