Awesome!! Holding onto the penguin's wing reminds me of ICO, where the hero had to hold the princess' hand  :)

Will the penguin be a huge hindrance like the princess need help to cross crevasses?  ;D

;D

What the... I see how it is! I definitely hate you, traitor  :'( I won't even waste my time ranting.

I hope you're happy with the money. You've disgraced indie developers everywhere.

Yeah exactly! Though I'm not addressing only Vince!

What?  >:( No way! The XBox sucks! Why didn't you partner with Nintendo instead? This is gonna be a failure. I'm bailing out.

I second that! The Red Ring of Death is just pathetic  ;D

Congrats!! That's a lovely pic, I like the "coincidence" of the cousin being there  ;D ;D

Lucky bride and lucky hubby! Soon to be newlyweds, awww  :-* I'm wishing you LOADS of happiness!!

Better alright! Prettier, less square  :)

Careful, it doesn't take much for a mouse to rebel

especially when it's saved as a .jpg instead of .png  ;D (my mistake  :-[)

EDIT: This is not an entry (duh), it was just made to defend Spike4072, I like mice  :)

I think it was "Grr! Bearly Sane", I got it from some random forum and I didn't know it was AGS then. I only discovered the website afterwards... :) memories...

There actually is a demo available, if people want to try it out before downloading it.

Here.

Oh I didn't know there was one, I only saw it on the website I mentioned above, and they wouldn't provide a demo.

Thank you for the tip LimpingFish!

Haha, I can't believe Stupot's Red Dwarf reference got past everybody. That made me laugh...

Well I googled it and it's a British series, we never got it here in France, or Asia :/ and I was never in the U.S. long enough to notice if they had it.

That's neat! I saw that game some time ago on bigfishgames, and wanted to try it out, only there was no demo because the game was too large, and no way would I buy a PC game without trying it first... though I sometimes do that... but not with ghosts, too risky  ;D

So thanks for sharing!

I felt bad for this thread  :-[ and would've loved to submit something but I can't animate for the life of me.
I'm very glad someone submitted something though  ;D ;D and it's a very nice animation at that! The little blob is very cool! Blue is a winner in every sense of the word!

Awwwww I love Strange Visitor's entry!!!  ;D I have the urge to fill it right here right now so that the mouse can reach the cheese!

Ghost, I think Jack Sheehan didn't show his pic on purpose, he was afraid someone might have a seizure  ;D

The Woody McGrub character is awesome!!
It should star in its own AGS game!... a feeling of deja vu here  ;D
Ok I'll stop or I'll start sounding like a Ghost fangirl (which is probably what I am though)

But seriously, I like Gilbot V7000a's idea the best! The woodpecker one. If you've got some time to spare, entering and exiting 100 times isn't too bad  ;D

Thank you, ShadeJackrabbit, and Ghost! The meaning of her name is very interesting!

Oh I noticed something... the trophies look like Stupot's avatar.

I didn't know Shodan was Stupot in disguise... or is it the other way round  ;D

Idea: TheJBurger, it really looks like a cool, evil place.

Atmosphere: cat, now that's a creepy cave alright! Reminds me of old cartoons with the cliche scientist villain.

Design: Ryan Timothy, among all the nice stuff, I think the transparent skull is great! So is the ship afar.

Composition: Ryan Timothy, everything is where it should be, I like how the lantern is hanging on the ribs... even though I don't know how it manages to do that.

Functionality: TheJBurger, can't you just picture evil masterminds at work there? Walking around, pulling out their hair, plotting the destruction of the world...

Technique: TheJBurger. If this is unfinished and messy, I wonder how much cooler the real thing can be!

It's Alice Ducky in Wonderland  ;D ;D

Pardon my lack of skills, but this is all I could come up with! Asian-style Shodan is set to conquer the world with the help of her right-hand (wo)man, Lady Platypus!! ;D

Yeah so... I don't know how to do all the neat stuff the people above did, I could only color, and draw some stuff with my touchpad. Ghost, I told you I would draw a lady platypus for you! I hope my entry works, even though Shodan doesn't look computer-ish...

Oooh, something that I will translate soon  ;D very nice screenshots!

Umm... wow. Your objective is to kill your cat? Have you been reading too much Edgar Allen Poe?
actually, the graphical style seems to fit the morbid style. I'll give it a try once you release it.

The title "Near somewhere" seems odd, it doesn't tell me anything. But maybe that's the points  ;)

I think it's more about irony, than it is about morbidity. You're trying to kill your cat because it's got 9 lives and that's what's fun...  ;D? Am I making any sense here or am I just a twisted psycho  ;D?

As for the title it's a reference to naamlock's previous game, "Far Nowhere".

*wild applause indeed!*  ;D ;D ;D  Go Alucard!

I've read the previous topic, and downloaded the detective story to read it. Nice and fun, but confusing sometimes. Since I'm new at this (even though I've done round robins before) , I hope I don't mess things up  ;D but I'd really like to sign up. disquietude at msn dot com  :)

Hey hey easy- a man can only take *so* many compliments before turning into a megalomaniac  ;D And the platypus is in great company here! I love these Balls!

I'm a bit late for this one, I'll join next time and draw a platypus lady  ;D
