Happy Birthday, LimpingFish!

Great game so far! The tutorial was great.

Spoiler
I've build a rocket and that generator thing, but I can't build this spinner thing. Where can I place this? The game won't let me put it anywhere.
How can I use the torches against the snakes? I just produced lots of them.
I also have monkeys with weapons running around, but what does this do? Is this like the baskets that it improves a monkey stats?

Hi Pijin,

I didn't remember your name, but I've played Dr. Lutz and the Time Travel Machine and El Tesoro del Rey and enjoyed playing both!

I agree with the others, that I prefer to use specialized tools for each application.
Anyway, please continue making games, no matter if using AGS 3.x or 5.0 ;)

...and most AGS players hate installers.
I wonder why... is not it good when there is a program that automatically installs and deletes all game files for you?
Also by "AGS players", do you mean people from forums, or all the players of AGS games, including people who gets AGS games on steam, and such?
AFAIK an installer will NOT automatically delete all files - stuff that is created in application or user data (i.e. save games) will not be removed. Also, an msi installer makes things difficult for people using Linux.
With players I mean people from the AGS forum, which are probably the main audience of MAGS games. For Steam, of course, this is something completely differnt.

Mandle, please consider that the second option (install) probably will not work for Linux users and most AGS players hate installers.

No worries :)

No need to blame anyone, there has previously been a bug in the games page that would show an error message when creating a new DB entry. This was confusing and might have caused people to create several entries unintentionally.

I removed the two redundant entries.

Great first issue for a (hopefully) long running series!

Happy Birthday Miez!

Enjoy this cake (I didn't dare to light the candle - you know, things happen ;) )

Great stuff, guys!

This is a screen from a game Ghost and I were working on for MAGS 11/2015 (but sadly never finished, I hope he doesn't mind I share this here). It was planned as point and click adventure in children's book design with Dr. Seuss style rhymes.
You play as the ghost-cat :-D

Good read, thanks for sharing!

For me, the date doesn't work anymore, either. But I was a very tentative attendee anyway.

Does anyone know, is there going to be an AdventureX this year?

It's just that all the other characters look dressed for pretty serious warfare and wears clothes that reflects the WWI theme really well,
but this girl wears some kind of frilly mini-skirt and stockings, which isn't practical combat-gear, nor anything that looks like something women would wear during  WW1.

Same here. I was really disappointed when I scrolled to that picture.

I had some new pixel art prepared but instead of posting that I felt the need to spend ten minutes 'shopping the Arcanum thing. Now I've lost interest in this thread entirely.

Yeah, whatever. If you can't be bothered posting, I certainly won't go into begging mode to still show it (although some here probably will do as you intended).

There were "unable to write to log" for every action performed on the database. Did you fix something generic about logging or just for the special case of voting?

A blast from the past!

It's nice to see that several of the games got finished.

Fixed.

Maybe we should do another initiative to find and fix broken download links?

I also had problems starting the game. It only worked after I moved it from my AGS games folder on D drive to C:\temp. This is very weird, I never had this problem with an AGS game before.

Edit: Amazing simulation! And with the gentle music it is so relaxing to just watch it and place a colored dot on an island from time to time.
