I'm curious how others have pulled off completing their games on either a micro budget or no budget at all.

I guess how most people do it - in their free time.

This would be my first completed game if I managed to afford to finish it...

Not a completed game yet and not even bothered to spend some free time on basic graphics yet - I doubt that someone is willing to spend money on such a kickstarter...


It may sound harsh, but unless this is the most innovative game concept with amazing story and stuff, I don't think this will be funded successfully...

I don't really understand what you need the money for. Do you want to pay someone to do the graphics for you? Do you need the money to buy graphics software?

@Snarky, I found an Air France flight with one stopover and 5 1/2 hours total in one direction. But if it is any comfort to you - our flights were also very expensive (since 18h in Paris were no option for us either)

Don't forget to get one of the reasonable offers while they are still available, flights usually don't get cheaper

Edit: just checked a few destinations, there are flights from London for £115, Milano â,¬127, Amsterdam â,¬202 and Warszawa â,¬218.

It all depends on the resolution you use.

Some time ago I made this little game with 1024x768 resolution (currently the maximum possible afaik)

In the PM inbox on the left side where the avatar of the sender is shown, the row with the IM/Skype/DeviantArt... icons is duplicated for some people.

I'd skip the "Faravid Interactive and Screen 7 present". The logos are shown at the bottom anyway and I think the font doesn't fit. Apart from that, I think it looks great!

the price depends on the number of people. The base price is 2600â,¬ for 10 people, every additional person adds 100â,¬.
If we are ten people, this will be 260â,¬ per person, if we are 20 it will be 180â,¬. So, the more the merrier, but also the cheaper
