I'm all for Sintra. It is the most accessible house with a train station (about 1 hour public transport! from the airport) and infrastructure close by, there is lots of stuff to do around, and it's also not very expensive. If we can sort out that bed issue...

The Lisbon area also seems to be the best climate wise - not as hot as the south and not as cold and rainy as the north.

Sintra Manor House doesn't look too bad. It's very close to Lisbon with lots of restaurants in walking distance and there is also a train station, we wouldn't even need cars. Despite the questionable design of the bedrooms this is also a scenic location. Also the pricing system makes it more flexible regarding the number of people.

Do we really want an indoor pool? Although I have to agree that the property looks magnificent.

Thinking about it, do we actually need a large inside community area? According to Wikipedia it's going to be pretty hot, so a large table outside in the shadow might even be preferable.

May I ask what you didn't like about house #2 in the Doodle? Is there something we didn't notice or is it just personal preference?

I did a bit of research on public transport. From the Lisbon Airport it's a 10 minute subway ride to Lisbon Oriente station, from where the southbound trains leave. There seem to be four trains a day to Boliqueime which seems to be the closest train station to the villa (about 3km). They all require changing to a local train at Albufeira-Ferreiras (alternatively we could take a taxi from there). The train to Albufeira takes about 3h and costs 20â,¬ oneway.
So I'd say it's fairly possible to go by public transport. However, we would need at least one car for going shopping and stuff.

Looks like we have a winner! Everybody seems to be happy with villa 3.

If we go to villa 3, we should definitely go from 19th, since it's getting much more expensive afterwards (£2750 vs £3749).

The outlines and fillcolors of the guy are almost the same. If I don't zoom in, I don't see the difference. When working on pixel art, from time to time look at the picture in the original size, not only zoomed in.
