No, actually he is right. www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk currently links to the wiki. But it is not Chris Jones' fault  ;)

Hahaha, nice illustration! I saw your presentation at AdventureX and also played the demo there a bit and it looks very promising. The graphic is great, the story and setting based on a great idea and it is amazing, what you have managed to do within the limitations of AGS. Looking forward to it!

I like the lineart and the choice of colors, the eyes are great too, but the shading of the hair looks flat. If you desaturate the picture you can see that there are no volumes defined for it. Try to think of the shapes and the lightsource and shade accordingly.

Hi Dual!

I was a bit sad that you didn't post on the forum a lot recently. :~( And now you are 9 months in ;) ?
I wish you all the best, take care.

AdventureX was great, definitely worth going there.

I enjoyed meeting people from Mittens again, getting to know those I only knew from the forums and also meeting a lot of other new people.

The talks were great and I also enjoyed the panels and game presentations. Often it was hard to decide what to watch because there was so much interesting stuff going on.
The games that were presented, either by their own booth or a presentation looked very promising and it was fun to try some of the demos. I'm looking forward to their release!

I think it was great that there was a focus on voice acting and the topic was covered from different points of view. Maybe next year there could be a focus on graphics for example?

The venue was perfect for this event. I especially liked the room with the tables, booths and presentations going on, it was great for socializing. It was also great to have a place in central London with lots of accommodation and it was easy to get there.

The only thing I would suggest for next year, is to include breaks for lunch and also time to socialize and play games. Several times I was talking to people or trying their demo when I got interrupted by a new talk starting.

Thanks to Mark, Berian and Rebecca for the organization!

I'm not sure if I can make it to Mittens AND AdventureX next year, but I'll definitely try!

Hi neon, I'm glad you like it! If you can wait for a few more days: Tabata and I are currently working on a German translation that will be available by the end of this year.

Sheep Quest got a short review in Adventure Gamers' "Following Freeware":
http://www.adventuregamers.com/articles/view/23370

@Anian: This is supposed to be the sound that other people make in the distance, probably this didn't work well.
@Shadow1000
Spoiler
I assume it was deliberate that the "red herring" was a reference to the moped puzzle

It was not intended, but now that you mention it, I think it really fits (laugh)

I'll arrive on Friday and stay until Monday - any recommendations on which ticket for public transport is best?

Me! I'd love to be next to Bicilotti and Disco!

Ha, your version of FontEdit did the trick. Mine was probably too old (but it is still linked on the AGS homepage, I'll report that)

Thanks!

Hm, simply replacing a wfn file does not do the trick for me, the editor does not seem to reload the font from the file.

In Radiant's FontEdit I didn't find an option to choose the output format. Maybe I have the wrong version? I got it from the link on the mainpage. It's version 1.1.0.0 from 2004.

Hi!

I'm currently working on a German translation that needs some special characters.
I copied one of the wfn files in the game folder and edited it with Radiant's font editor. But now I don't know how I can get the font back into AGS. When I try to import it, I get an error message "Unable to import the font. Not a valid SCI font file".

How do I get the changed font back into my project?

There seems to be a general problem with adding games to the database. I struggled myself and I think other people had this too, recently.

Love the graphics and the story sounds fun!

+1 for examining the Kübelwagen, and I also donate an umlaut.

For multiple endings I strongly recommend The Vacuum. I have to admit I only played it once because I got a very good ending at the first try. What I did like about the game, is that you can change the ending on various occasions during the game and that it all depends on real decisions you make. I don't like it when just accidentally picking up an item (which is what you generally do in adventure games) changes the outcome.
I also did like the different modes of FoA (despite the fact that with every mode I got stuck in the maze on Crete).

On the other hand, I usually don't like when just one single action changes the game. Only in the Whispered World I really wanted to have an option to choose another ending, which wasn't there.

Nice topic! I didn't join a BG Blitz for quite some time, maybe I'll give it a try.
