Hm, I'm not sure, according to the wikipedia entry this is a game with some laser rifle  ??? Or is this just some high-tech version of this game?

Another edit: google revealed that this is probably both. So I think I can go with it. Thanks guys!  :D

Ah, I used google image search with 'shooting range' but this is not quite the thing I am looking for. The thing I want to know is some kind of children's game where you throw balls at a pyramid of cans and try to crash it.

Edit: Oh well, seems this game only exists in German speaking areas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coconut_shy#Other%20countries
Damn, this was part of a major puzzle in my game, now I have to find something different.

Question

I've already asked that on leo.org but didn't get any satisfying answer:

What do you call a booth at the fair where you shoot balls at empty cans and get prizes?
Does this game even exist in English-speaking countries?

The German word for this is "Dosenschießen".

I don't like the brown things under his eyes, they disturb the otherwise clean look. Otherwise its great. I also like those other drawings.

I get a "page not found" error  :-[

I'd also say that it would be polite anyway to ask the author of the game. I guess usually they won't mind if you use their screens for reviews but asking first doesn't hurt either.

Lovely graphics! What game length are you aiming for?

What about some emergency exit lights? They would fit in such a corridor and are not too bright.

Ha, I like the Jack-in-the-box thing, reminds me of "The incredible machine"

What I think is most irritating is the texture of the ceiling. The camouflage pattern should get smaller in the distance and blend into a rather smooth gray. Now my eye is not sure where to focus on the picture.
Second, clean outlines. Try to do exact filling of the floor and the bottom of the floor. With photoshop you can easily mark the areas where you want to paint/apply filters without affecting the areas outside your selection.

Yes, I suggest to use pixel perfect alignment for all boxes

Tools for manual dithering, maybe something like predefined masks where you just paint over.

For vector animation you should take a look at Synfig http://synfig.org/Main_Page

Yeah, same for me. Sometimes I play a game and forget to vote and then I don't remember if I already did it for a certain game. So later I don't vote because I do not want to falsify the results by accidentally voting twice. Or will the site check if I did already vote for a game and will not count if I do it a second time?

A rougher texture in the foreground with maybe some small stones and other detail and a smooth background could also do the trick.
