Wow, this looks useful. And I don't think, that it is really THAT expensive (at least if you compare it with the price of photoshop  ::))

I just wanted to tell you that there is a new Sprite Jam going on without size our colour restrictions. So, why not stop discussing and do some art?  :D

I really like the version with the round head. I think the facial expression gives him lots of character.

The tutorial inspired me:

I'm with Dualnames, I think it looks like a sheep (ok, maybe this is because I just returned from New Zealand  ::) )

I think the sideviews work quite well, but in the front and backview the head is too wide. In the 3/4 view the head looks like a sphere, while in the front view it looks like a box.

If it is a parody, why not just call the company "Macrohard" and the software "Doors"?

You could go to the ags games page and set the genre filter to "horror". There are some free horror ags games.

Hi!

As robvalue mentioned above, there is some kind of walking dead.

Spoiler

I've done everything and gave the king the soup but I've accidently woken up the guard and I do not have the cup and bucket anymore to make him sleep again.

Besides that, I like the game.

That's interesting, because in Austria pepper shakers usually have only one hole while salt shakers have more of them. Don't know why, though.

@SHH Um, why?

Now another AGS blog I have to follow. *sigh* there goes my working time  ;)

Now I have to pull up this old thread since the first post is regularly updated and this game deserves more recognition.

I also have some insider information that the project is doing well and if you check out the progress report you will see that it is nearing completion  :D

(PS: Regarding forum rules: I PMed Le Woltaire and he allowed me to bump this thread)

Ryan: I still don't quite understand. So, if I have two objects with different angles - how do I find the correct vanishing point for each object?

Stefano, thanks for that link! Here http://www.scottmcdaniel.net/drawing/perspective/perspective.html is also some information about this perspectives and the usage is well described, but I didn't understand 5 point perspective until I read the article from your link.

I did like Dr. Lutz very much and also Heartland, both had great graphics. But Damsel is the most hillarious game that I've played recently. Haven't played the other games on the list though.

@Gilbet: Yeah, well, at least the Japanese part might put off some people  ;)
#4398
Shouldn't there also be a removetint in the else statement? Otherewise there might be wrong tinting if there are two objects next to each other.

Nice interview!
If you check out his website (mentioned at the end of the interview) there are also some design documents you can download.

Ha, great, I was considering this topic when I was once starting the background blitz  :D
