its a good start. what materials have you used? perhaps you could consider using a finer brush now to add detail.

I really like where Nexus is going. Keep up the good work! If you're after help with maintaining or anything really, I'm available to help.

I'd like to see more separation between the web aspect and the program. At the moment all it feels like is a browser that captures downloads to AGS games. Its really no different to if I were to visit the site with chrome or firefox. When I used steam it actually felt like I was in a different protocol than the web (even though the interface was the same).I suppose with time it will come.

Once again, if I can offer any assistance, I'm open to help.

Can someone explain how strucks work?

I want to have a lot of them so they can hold battle info.

Like as you can see in video I would like to have a struck to hold lines that apply to the inventory(Command) that player has picked.

lol, english isn't your first language is it?

I think you mean struct's (short for structures).

try here: http://americangirlscouts.org/agswiki/Module_programming_guidelines#Structures_Defined_in_the_Module_Script

I think you guys are missing the point. If we want to 'sell' AGS to the larger gaming community we have to drop (read: hide) things like directx 5. If we're happy to keep it a closed community who understands why it says directx 5 etc, then we can ignore the simpletons. :)

mode7 did you pay for vue? I see they have a free version, but you need to pay for the import modules etc.

Hi CJ,
Dave told me about this forum. I am sending a message from Japan, which is suffering from the massive earthquake. Actually I am in Tokyo, so the damage is not so big, but I feel very sad what happend in Tohoku area. Though we will have a hard time for a while, I believe Japan will be fine. Anyway, I would like to ask you about licensing of Gemini Rue, which I enjoyed the demo a lot. Could you please contact my e-mail for details, ishida@yukes.co.jp? Thanks,

What a weird post. Is this spam of some weird kind?

Anyway, I'm sure you can find out about the licensing at their website: http://www.wadjeteyegames.com/

so who won? is there a web page for all the awards? I feel like unless I'm here every hour checking for updates or on the irc channel I never know what's going on!

started playing it last night - one of the best ags games i've played.

The intro was fantastic, sucks you right in straight away. I'm enjoying the graphics, even though some parts are a bit blurry.

The sound and music is top-notch and the detail is second to none. It's the detail that really makes any game.

I haven't got very far yet -

Spoiler
I got the stick stuck in matthias's door - what now?

my only criticism so far is that no-one in any of the character portraits have eyes?!?

I havent played the game or anything, but I see it here in the forums all the time. Anyway, in Australia a 'Pub' is a bar. Where you go to have alcoholic drinks etc. It's short for 'public bar'.

So I'm wondering is Pub something else in japanese or whatever language this is? Serious question.

I guess playing the game would probably clear it up but the name doesn't make sense to me.

when I was a kid playing adventure games and before the internet was around I always imagined the towns in adventure games having real people in them, also playing the game somewhere else in the world, and you could interact with them using the same interfaces as with npc's - except that they are real people. So I guess it would be World of Warcraft, but in a 2d adventure game setting.
