Everybodys website is back up and running except mine, argh!!

That's because it isn't pointing at the server but at 194.154.164.82, make sure it points at 212.227.132.49 and everything should work.

FTP gives me this error[...]Has my email password been changed?

I did briefly change my www MX record to point to adventure developers but I changed it back last night and would've thought it'd have propogated by now, but perhaps it hasn't. But even then my email and FTP should work surely, because I didn't change those MX records...

It hasn't yet. The problem is: you probably changed (www.)screen7.co.uk to point somewhere else, which somehow created an infinite redirect loop. Make sure everything is set to our IP.

IRC is still offline? Or permanent relocation to uhm, undernet?

Um, I'm on QuakeNet because UnderNet's constant spamming was too annoying. Our own IRC probably will be online today.

Downloading games seems to be disabled. All I get is a blank page. Not even a 404 or a server offline message...

Everything will be down, the server will be gone for a short time.
I don't know whether I'll manage to import all old passwords (or any at all), so i may have to reset all email-passwords.

Now would be a good time to grab a backup of your stuff, but since everybody is wise and does regular backups it probably wouldn't matter if my backups broke.

We'll go down for maintenance (general overhaul) next Wednesday, 12th of March.
Do backups for everything, don't forget MySQL or your files in other places than your httpdocs/!
As I'll do a complete format and then a reinstall in which I'll change some major stuff under the hood your domains will be unreachable from 12.03. some time AM until "when it's done", which *should* be more than 3 hours and less than 3 days.

I'll do a complete backup, but i won't and can't guarantee that it'll contain everything you wanted, so have a recent backup ready in case i break something.
It's generally a good idea to have regular backups.

Anyway, the problem seems to be on your side and not on ours.
You are able to receive emails from this server, try changing your email address and see whether the new one receives any automated messages.

Rui, i've checked the queue (where undelivered mails are waiting to be delivered) and couldn't see any to your email address.

i assume you're on windows xp, with windows in "C:\Windows\" and know the sites the person visits.

navigate to "C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\", open the "hosts" file in your favourite text editor. notepad works fine.

add a line to the bottom of the file, make it look like this:

127.0.0.1	youtube.com
127.0.0.1	www.youtube.com

this doesn't work when you don't know the specific sites, though.
fixing that would be a trickier, as you'd either need a router or proxy server.

fun way to do it would be flipping the images upside down, see http://www.ex-parrot.com/pete/upside-down-ternet.html

add the sites the person visits to your hosts file and direct them to somewhere else, i suggest to 127.0.0.1
