Oh wow. I'm not ususally a praiser of the LazyTown programme since the main mustached bloke scares me a little but I am finding your enthusiasm for such a game-make and the way you are using the graphics and in general is just outstanding. I am surprised that you haven't been given the job of LazyTown game yet.

Mega impressed, look forward to seeing it complete :)

Hey for someone who hasnt visited the board in a long long time I am impressed you've picked up on this again, I quite liked your stuff for Dawn, but it is a shame when the artwork takes forever and there is no actual game development - congrats on the new take on it all and I look forward to playing the full episodes as and when you get to them :)

Hey glad there is something to download, looks pretty good, shame you couldn't adapt  Lee's artwork into a sprite that would have been good. and glad to see a full scale 8th Doctor in the game. Only trouble is, I can't open this blasted panel under the console... and I'm out of ideas.

Anyways, don't credit me for the TARDIS sprite - it isn't mine in the game! Its someone elses's, the one I sent recently in email is my own (well sort of), so if you could change that, that would be greatly appreciated. I'll find the person who did it and put their name here - sorry about that! Silly me, didn't think I'd go and do that.

But excellent game all the same, can't wait for more.

Sorry to have been another that nagged about no credits anyways... I have some frames of a TARDIS in motion, did you want me to devise a GIF you can use? My frames are PNGs so the background is transparent, and its a sid- on, rather than a top-side-on view. Is that helpful?

Thanks for the updates Duck. I had noticed it was awfully quiet here, did wonder if another of my posts killed this thread! Oh dear!

Shame about the no March deadline - do you think you'll beat the new series to airing? ;)

Looks good - shame your first post didn't credit Lee's artwork. So technically you aren't responsible for any of it! LOL I kid, I kid.

any close ups of this tiny 8th Doctor sprite?

lets hope this doesn't die a short death and not regenerate...

Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

Just a quick update about the site, I have removed the old Demo1 (Episode One) because it wasn't required since it was superceded by Demo2 (Episode One and Episode Two) which, lets hope, is superceded again by the complete game.

I wonder, duckbutcher, will there be a musicless version of the game should people not want to download big ZIP files? For example, Demo2 is 40mb in size...

Hints & Tips / Re: DOCTOR WHO DEMO
Fri 11/01/2008 19:07:55
I see people are having more luck than I. After the start of Part Two the Doctor goes upstairs and looks for Sarah and Pierre but is there anything to do upstairs? When I go downstairs it repeats the opening of Part Two and the destruction of some certain people by some certain enemy... I'm stuck.

Is this one dead and buried? Or are you still actively working on this aA?

Either someone just jinxed this game, or Cirius is still working on this.

What's the update Cirius?

Ooooh. Glad to see some progress duckbutcher, hope everything is okay at home.

Website updated/redesigned. Enjoy.

The great Scarecrow speaks!

My lord Scarecrow how long has it been... I must say I still sit in awe of your graphics for your game, a real shame it never got finished, maybe one day... Love the new additions to the page, especially that Cyberman! :-p

but more the better than we do have a continuing game of WHO, duckbutcher fabulous new screengrabs - care if I upload them to the website? speaking of which, do keep me informed when you have the next part available and I will make it available from the website AQAP.

I must confess I have not finished playing part two as of yet since I am getting married come September and all the wedding plans have seen me have little time to post here!

all the best to all of you.

Did you not want me to host the demos mate? as i offered at www.duckbutcher.damproductions.org? if not, not a problem, i'll take it down.

Just finished downloading - will play at the first opportunity!

Fantastic!

Aww someone else offering a site hosting... ah well. hopefully your new offer will be better than the crap I put up!

K9 in School Reunion would be the K9 & Company K9 we saw, and the new K9 from end of SR is the one we see in Sarah Jane Adventures (Sarah explains that the events of meeting Doctor happened a few years ago)

Hey how's the game coming along?

Love the new screenshots and look forward to a complete episode one.

Maybe a release schedule like the new Telltale Games: Sam & Max games would be a good idea... given that they have set themselves a regular schedule and a nice groovey website ;-)

The original 3d Doctor Who Adventure Game was created by a chap called Scarecrow (didn't get his real name)

The site went down years ago, but there was a demo released of the game, featuring a 3d Tom Baker Doctor in 3d environments, outside the TARDIS was some 2d aliens.

So, Geoffkhan, if you're interested, I do have this original demo released. I do not know how I stand on redistribution, or even if I'm allowed! I'd rather see if Scarecrow reads this and tells me otherwise! But I think the chap passed away awhile ago - i don't know so don't hold me to it.
