Oh jesus!

What is wrong with TXT style writing?! It has become an everyday part of our lives. I bet one day in the future, even politicans and lords will write their memoirs or whatever like that. Don't ask y.

Looks although KQ3VGA has died. We seem to be slightly in a position where we r expecting frequent updates which we ain't getting.
Oh well, easy come easy go.
I await the next KQ3 fanatic who reckons he can make it.

1) If it isn't possible already (slap me if it is), could variables be introduced that tell us the positions of the exits of the current room (i.e the yellow exit lines).
I'm basically working on A System like in QFG where the monsters follow you room to room but not the way FollowCharacter does it so you get time to get away from the monster after the room change.

2) This is possibly farfetched but it would be cool if a trailing effect for the characters was possible. Either by AGS or a plugin. Only one of my game beta testers requested that to be in one of my games.

I would like to add (if I may) that although the trailer was purely excellent. After thinking about it, it does give an impression that all we will get in this remake is better graphics and thats it.

Although I did mention that graphics are important to update in most remakes of this kind (and they are up to standard).
You will probably need more. Some people could be disappointed if thats all that new. Just graphics. Some people probably won't even bother downloading it for that reason. Do you plan any extra puzzles at all?

Please try and do a little of what tierra did to KQ2 when you've done all the graphics and basic bits. That would be sweet and I'd be licking your boots if you do.

My only criticism is that the majority of art in the trailer doesn't seem to match the style of art on the website. Thats not a problem but it could confuse some people.

I enjoyed the trailer and i look forward to the final piece.

My only worry is that all bits of art there look to be drawn over the original graphics. Your not going to do that for all the BGs and sprites are you? A few different perspectives and new animations would be interestin. Possibly extended cut scenes if possible.

Maybe add more background movement and activity to the monolth burger. Pick on bits that sierra forgot or couldn't do. That sort of thing

That explains why when I set G to 102%. The char goes B/W. Doesn't make sense.
TINT is the wrong word to describe the feature in its current state.

That acwin is no different.

This is how I think it should work. The same way as TintScreen works only on characters.

When I set G to 110%, I'd expect the char to look slightly greener than normal. Trouble is, the calculation will be tricky.

Hmmm OK I guess. I work onit occasionally but the fact that i dunno what to do next don't help.

I won't be able to do any work on it for at least 2 weeks from now.

I just tried it and the problem is gone. But really I think its because sprite 0 is the first one selected.
In my case, some other sprite was selected by default and it was automatically chosen on cancellation. This was the first sprite to be highlighted because it was accessed before for creating a view.

Hope I'm not babbling. :(

I think i've found a bug.

I noticed that when you click the bullet point button for dialogs and then you press ESC to cancel. The current selected sprite is picked anyway.

Cancellation? I think not!!

I know you don't give a fuck about this game but I thought I'd tell you anyway. My game is updated again with another bugfix and the download size has been reduced to 2.9MB. The movie files are now a separate download

You can just select sprite number 0 to clear the BG :P

I have a possible bug to report.

I have a situation where my character sits down and talks to someone.

the set talking view command won't work with dialogs but it did in normal script.

Yea I posted that BEFORE all that controversy. I did say he should prove me wrong and I want him too. :)

EDIT: MHawk, are you going to recreate the 3 bears scene with the porridge or are you going to develop it and replace it with something that doesn't plagarise an old fairy tale just like how Tierra developed the Little red riding hood bits in KQ2+

I've also done a battle system with upgradable characters. Its quite popular isn't it.

You wanna get a good honest critic/beta tester to test that the battle system has no bugs and is user-friendly. Mine wasn't to start with and I started developing it with poor programming experience. It can be hard so keep the code organised! Mines a freakin mess  :-[
