I got this error when attempting to save my room:

There was an error compiling your script. The problem was:
In: 'Internal character defines'
Error (line 70): Expected ',' or ';', not 'Ring'
Do you want to fix the script now? (Your room has not been saved).

Then I get this message:

The error occured in an internal AGS script. This should never happen; try re-installing the latest version of AGS.

Ok, all I really did was add an object to a room. Then it wouldn't save. I'm confused. Whats going on with this weird error?

I just discovered that the existence of an AGS InputBox pushes up the CPU usage. Possibly even to almost 100% on single threaded machines (mine is hyperthreaded). This is an odd characteristic and if it ain't been reported already, this should be on the bug tracker.

Advanced Technical Forum / Skewing sprites

Hi,

I want to write a function/module that skews a sprite in AGS as there seems to be no native support for this.
I guess the down to earth question is, is this possible? I can't seem to find any rawdraw or dynamicsprite functions that allow me dynamic access to the pixels of a sprite.

Hi,

I see you have been hunting my game, Ray Bexter.
You should download the latest edition here which contains the missing movie files (originally a separate download)

Go to my old site here:
http://uk.geocities.com/deltamatrix/

and click on the link RAY BEXTER. It says its 2.7MB, it is in fact 4.5MB

Just curious here.

I noticed the AGS Editor takes longer to load than before.
Is this just a side effect of the .NET framework?

Seriously good luck.

Damn you Portugese actors. Bring on FOOTBALL PLAYERS!!.

With all these fake fouls and useless refs you get plus the fact that England can't score a penalty to save the universe, i'm skeptical of watching Euro 2008 at all!
And all these lame football songs/remixes you get in the wake of a footie tournament don't help.
Maybe they should make a footie song that focuses on all the missed penalties/bad lampard strikes/missed crouch headers/ in our repertoir instead of how great we claim to be. At least that would be different!

I hope lampard is withdrawn! He sucks!

For once, a eurovision song worth buying. Thats a great start. Well done Finland!

I hope next year more metal acts will arise in the eurovision.
Once again, us UK dwellers pick a shit song by some 40 year old rapper. How desperate!
I don't know why the UK bothers to enter the eurovision coz we haven't enough allies or neighbouring countries to rely on. If only we could enter as England rather than United Kingdom.

Correct me if I'm wrong but no one in this thread seems to have mentioned LITHUANIA yet.

I just wanna know where that awful dancing came from by that bald bloke! No wonder they were booed.

Just played the demo.

All I can say is hmmm. The demo didn't thrill me enough to purchase it.
When the black beast starts chasing you, there was dramatic music on the SNES version but not on this version?

I think I'll stick to the original.

I got one question though.

Does this remake include the level that occurs before the big arena and after the scene where you are being chased through a corridor with guns constantly firing until your buddy rescued you?
My old Atari ST version didn't have that level and cut straight to the arena bit.

That website might be old.

Those screenshots are nothin new from what I saw so perhaps development has slowed down and this website is a little premature.

Or maybe its just under konstruction.
