In the London part, I am trying to knock the policeman out with the plank but no matter what I do I am still not fast enough to knock him before he moves away and I have to leave and go buy somemore bread to bribe the begger. I have been stuck here for a long time. Any clues on how to move faster would be great!

I have the corkscrew, pan,Ã,  the carrot but not sure what to do. I see the wrench up in the tree but can't figure out how to get it. I see the hole in the tree but what do I put there?

Wouldn't you know it, now it says my sheet is too short to use on the tree. I have the hanger but how do I lengthen the sheet? Stumped!!! Its not the broom because I can't take it yet. Any clues?

I thought I might be looking for keys on the desk so I can open the chest but all there is is a lamp. If you are talking about the knife that was there, I already have that but I cannot use it on the chest.

I have talked to the barman and have gotten to the monastery where I put the dog to sleep. How do I get into the chest to get the sheet I need to climb the tree? Still can't get into the theatre or get the keys???

Starting on the first line, can I assume that you are meaning to move E to A spot, F to E spot, K to D spot J to K spot and so on. If so, I didn't get too far. On the first row I got as far as  EAFEKDJKICGBHI  and then I am stuck on how to move.

At the risk of sounding stupid, how do I get rid of the numbers and chnage them to letters? Why can't I get this???

S, I got throught he maze with the help of your instructions.
But of course  am stuck again. I am in the crypt and have looked at the pics of the three monks, put in the numbers 09111999 as the numbers needed on the bottom line corresponding to the currant date but I'm afraid I do not understand your chart with the letters???

You are the kindest person to want to help me through this difficult game. I like it though because it challanges. I am having difficulty getting through the maze because I cannot tell whether I am to go R(right) L(left) or f(forward). As a result I am wondering round and round. I tried to follow your diagram, but still confused. Can you be a little more clearer?

S, okay I am here in the catacombs with the three doors and I can't do anything. I can't even go back down the hall to the entrance. Do I use something in my inventory here because I can't think what?
