look several times at the note and at the boxes and then try to move the boxes more than once. You should be able to move them at the second or third attempt.

Wow, unless there is another room with boxes, I am still perplexed.
I tried every box at least three or four times and all he says is, "Nothing interesting there,' or "I'm not going through all of those boxes!" And how do you read the note? I can pick it up but I can't read it...

go to the lower left edge of the screen and then try to go down (about 1/5th of the screen width). Leave this room and the rest should be obvious.

I have not been able to do anything in the basement. When I click on all of the boxes, nothing happens...I do have the note with the combo but how do I look at it?

Wow, I feel like a little kid, everyone is so much further ahead then me. I'm trying to figure on what to do with the 5 different
colored slugs.  When I click on them they rise up at different heights but I must be dense, I don't get it...

I'm sorry I can't remember, did you try what Gilbot suggested - bow arrow and rope? I'll look and see if I have any notes written down but it was ages ago that I played this game.
I just had a look on the games page to see if anything would jog my memory and from the picture of the game I seem to remember you have to somehow get the chandlier to fall and maybe theres a rope attached to it, and then maybe use the rope with the bow and arrow, to get bow and arrow you have to pick up a log and throw it at the bow and arrow, then shoot it up towards where the round window is? I don't know if this will help you or not LOL.

Then what do I do? I can't seem to get anywhere other than killing guards and reading messages on the computers. I'm stuck. Hint please.

Someone help please I'm going round and round.I killed the guard in front of the elevator on level 11 but have no clue on how to open the door. All the message says is there is a slot there but he is not carrying anything.
