ok so yea i moved the object out the way the was hiding the coins and now they rise.
i want tocover them back up..

i know how to hide the object. but how do you make it nosolid

ok sorted it. i had another object over it that i made none visible which was blocking it

the object i inported as a inventory item.

the item is on the floor lower than than target cords.

i want it to like rise from the ground befor disaparing

ok this is how ive got it

function oCoins_Interact()

object[2].Move(500,40,3, eBlock);
cAlien.AddInventory(iCoins);
object[2].Visible = false;


}

but nothing happens all i get is the watch timer.
trying to get the item to move to the player. remove it from screen. and add to inventory.
the object i have i imported as a inventory item

hi im trying to get a object to move before pick up
but nothing happens. they it just stays where i place it.
i read the manual and found abit a code about object move
but im having no joy

heres the code im trying please help.

how do i go about having somone talking to my char that is not in the scene at all.
do i still need a char or can i have some kind of hidden object?

what colors dose ags use for transparents.

and whats the best way to make them. as i keep havin trouble.
i keep getting like pixels around my images when i load them into ags.

hi ive the latest verson of ags.
ive started a new game with the default template.
but when i run the scene the gui at the top are all dark out and black.

im running in 32 bit color at 1024x764.

this not be a problem if i used my own customs ones would it when i make them?

hi all im wanting to start a game
i want to start of first by building the gui for starting the game and then and intro video.
was wandering whats the best way to attack this.
do you have any help on building a start gui?
ive watched tutorials vids and read manuals
just would like some extra feed back.
so i know im going the right way about it.

just one more thing. don't know if any one as tryed this.
or if its even possible

but i would like to make a Character using photo's and taking the still images of my self againts the right color back ground that would be transparent in ags. and then posing for each movement action.

any thoughts?

Hi all i was wandering what would the best image size be for a Character sprite in a 1024x768 res 32 bit color
game.
as i would like to do a detailed game like that of monkey island 3.

ive my scene in 1024x768.
just using the default Character and he looks like a ant compared to my scene

all help is much appreciated

ive load up a background into ags 800x00 and when i run it the lil man not move about the screen, can you please help?
