Just awesome... I love the film and the game captures the feel of it perfectly (not least due to the music)... nice one man!

Puzzles were good too.

Intreguing start! I'm really looking forward to seeing how this one turns out (and playing something :D)... The plot does seem rather cool...

I just use a random string of numbers and letters which I've learnt... actually, there are a few of em, but there's one I use for most of my stuff (mainly because it's the kind of stuff that doesn't matter too much if it's broken into).

Hey, how awesome? I was right with my prediction of The Case demo being out in July :D

Okay, it's not that big a deal, and I have a feeling I'm going to be way off with my prediction of the final game, but hey, at least I've got something to aim for.

RED DWARF THE MOVIE is set in the distant future where Homo Sapienoids, a fearsome combination of flesh and machine, and the next stage of human evolution, have taken over the solar system and almost wiped out the human race.

The only survivors are the crews of long-haul space freighters that left Earth before the conflict began. The Sapienoids send forth fleets of Death Ships to hunt them down. One by one - the human ships fall, until only one remains.

Its name - Red Dwarf...

It still amazes me why people create this kind of thing in the first place... it's like that 'Hi I'm from some little known country and want to give you 10% of my money for holding it for a day for me' email.. I mean wtf?

GarageGothic, worse about GTA 3 was paying 500,000 for the girl, then shooting her as the credits came up :) I loved it though, totally amusing. Vice City had a good story imho.

As for disappointing adventures, I guess Syberia kind of disappointed me, but I hadn't paid a lot, and enjoyed all of the locations... shame the puzzles were crap/non existent.

As for EMI and CMI, I loved em both. I just enjoyed the continuation of the others. I remember when I finished MI2 for the first time, the only reason I disliked the ending was because I felt it screwed them up for a sequel and I wanted to play more :) Oh, and don't forget that great main theme.

The Demo is now here... but of course you could have guessed that from the first post in the thread :) Look up there for info... oh, and make sure you get the speech pack and read the readme.

What about if you enable interface multiple times... do you have to then disable them multiple times too to get rid of it ? :)

Okay, this is a pretty weird and obscure question, but I'm just knackered right now and can't handle any more coding myself, trying to find the solution to one annoying problem. Basically I've got a number as an int and I want to convert it to a string so that I can read the final digit of the number, but I can't for the life of me work out how to do it. There's a command that will convert strings to ints but I can't find one to do the other way around. I tried a simple a = b; command, but it didn't like it.

Anyone got any ideas? :) Thanks...

I'm looking forward to this one, if only for the music :D (Can't say that's not a biased viewpoint, but you've done some awesome stuff for my game!)

Failing that, the plot does sound intreguing... Looking forward to seeing the response to this one, especially the demo.

Most probably, yes. Just email an mp3 sample of your voice(s). (James@brokenpipefilms.com) and I'll see if there's a character that you fit :) If not, it's likely that I can write in some kind of small role for you in the full game.

Fraid so... Freewebs have stolen my access, because apparently there's a 7 page limit. This means that you won't be able to access everything on that server, even though some things still are up there... from now on, The Case website is: www.jh-m.demon.co.uk/thecase

And yes, all related links have changed to their relative versions on the demon server. But of course, I can't speak about that.

Oop... you weren't supposed to see that... I was testing something and didn't realise it was with the live site... It's for an update (not the game release, but something related) that will become apparent very shortly.

[edit] I've had to delete the rest of my post through the recommendation of one of my collegues. It was infact just information about a new screenshot that was to be posted, but now will not be.

You're correct, it doesn't seem to crash if you start a new game... so I guess the question is why is it happening just on this new version?

Absolutely no interactions whatsoever on any regions... at least not from 1-6 that I checked :)
