I think it accepts a rgba bitmap as a sprite where color to displacement maps RGB to XYZ

X: -1 to +1 :  Red: 0 to 255
Y: -1 to +1 :  Green: 0 to 255
Z: 0 to -1 :  Blue: 128 to 255

Holy fuck you people like to write.

1-ignore all media writing on Sarkeesian and just watch her videos, they have lots of important insights and she speaks clear English, She is a good speaker.

2-Again, ignore media, if you want a fun movie, watch Captain Marvel, it's also has graphically amazing moments. And lots of nostalgia.

I lost track of all the arguments, but yeah, those two things caught my attention. Also, people attaching historical realities to Battlefield are delusional, next thing they will ask realistic physics and complain their characters don't die for lack of hygiene.

The blurry is some Windows 10 scaling setting. You have to disable somewhere. I am sorry for being unhelpful because I don't remember the setting. Please don't disappear, there is another build of the engine for you to test soon.

Uhm, I read the json theme we have on 3.5.0 with hopes but I saw no font there so was curious if there was some hidden hack, but I guess no. (well, looking into it, still no dice but found a photo of agsers in a hot-tub xD)

Ok, I think I figured out. The project uses appears to use Scintilla, but an old version, and there is the place to change the font.

Ok, I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA, but usually sound in AGS gets distorted when framerate is bad.

So I would guess the person is running the game in fullscreen in a Linux distribution, and it's getting fps drops. Now I will guess the person actually has a performant computer and reason the frames dropping is some weirdly written code in the engine.

For some reason in some Linux Systems the engine drops frames when Full Screen on Linux. I don't have this problem, but I've seem this problem reported. I think the magic line was LIBGL_DRI3_DISABLE=true in this code  from @vga256. I think this is what Mage's Initiation is using.

Just wanted to add that this is a very cool effect!

One way I can see it be emulated is creating a circle with the desired alpha for transitions and stuff in a bigger size, then resizing it, creating a new sprite in a square area from the background, copying the prepared circle alpha on this square area you just got from the background, and do another resize at a slightly bigger size. It's a bit tricky but would avoid the while and could possibly run with no frame drops - need to test though.

Definitely upgrading to this one  8-)

Edit: The room editor resize is limited horizontally in pixels for me when zooming in, so I get an empty area between the Room Editor and the project explorer. My monitor has resolution of 2560x1440 pixels.
