DYDO:  No no!!! guy OR gal, remember! You can't have both!

Seriously... am I being too harsh?  It just seems like AGSers feel compelled to start threads these days... yet have no desire to come up with anything beyond "Red or Blue?"

I just don't know how to respond to that in any way mature.  "Violet?"

WOW!

What a thrilling topic for discussion!  I AM just bursting with debate on this one! I just can't say enough! Wait till every AGSer sees this and instantaneously explodes!   Male hero or female hero, the possibilities are endless!

Where to start?...... wrong forum, yay!
and then, hmm, no INFO whatsover on what project or thing this question refers to!!! Wheeeeeee!
And hmmm, if you don't know already, how are you going to make a whole game? Errrrrrr. And Oh, ARE you making a game? Or is this some bizaare question in general trying to tap into our masculine or feminine psyches??!?!?

Wowowowowowowoowowow! If only smart ass comments like these (mine) would remotely deter  threads like these from being made! If only!

First of all, I see no real idea here. I am quite familiar with the show and that is all you do in this post- introduce us to characters and a plot.

What you don't do is tell us what you bring to the table.  Are you ripping art from the actual show? Are you drawing your own sprites?  Is your game going to be long enough for all 13 treasures? Are you doing this out of nostalgia for the show?

If you want my feedback- I would say, don't attempt a story that doesn't belong to you. There are an infinite amount of universes waiting to be created, don't attempt to interpret one that's already been created. Create your own.

Robert, is it just your leg keeping you from the outside world?  Have you looked into any of those "WORK FROM HOME AWESOMENESS!" career plans?  You could make some money filming your neighbors and selling the voyeur footage online perhaps? Just some guy mowing, an old woman knitting, a teenage kid washing a car.  People pay fortunes for that kind of stuff.

My time is spent thusly:

A) Student at University of Texas. Earning some major that in the end will not matter.  Financial aid means I get paid to go to class.

B) Special Effects in film/ TV.  Making some money creating various illusions such as smoke, wind, rain, pryotechnics, stunts, etc.  Foam parties and event confetti/ fireworks are our other specialties.

Patient8: I hate my boss!

Dr.Phemme : Really? What's their phone number?

Ok, this is just filler.  Nice idea for a feature on your site, but the comedy writing needs some work. Keep at it. :)

Eric claims he doesn't post his artwork here because HE is one of the few who gives constructive criticism.  And its true.  You could only argue Eric's absence from this forum for a period of days, or a month... etc - but truth is Eric has supported this forum more than most since the forum's conception.

Therefore, he has full right to argue back to you, loominous, that doing what you ask won't solve a damn thing.  Unless eric himself critiqued his own art, which would be fun to watch- but pretty pointless in my opinion.

And it's interesting Loominous, that should Bill Watterson one day post in this forum- that you would be too lazy to tell him anything but a smiley or one word reply.  I'm glad you show no favoritism among those you deny opinions on their artwork. However, if smileys and one word replies were all AGSers offered a devoted artist such as Watterson- perhaps its best he does not post here.

Go read somewhere in public.

Write comedy and perform onstage somewhere. That will get your mind off anything, haha, but only stress you out even more.

Join a club or a meeting group somewhere. Go to a bingo hall. Meet anyone even if its old people, plus they might  have some hot grand daughters.

ah, no internet is a blessing. I went without my home connection for two weeks and had a blast.  But then the cable guy came and strong armed me to pay my bill, and now Im in front of the computer all the time.

But I do wish you luck on your job quest. Just remember, don't apply anywhere that requires you to handle pointy objects.

Or projectiles for that matter, or hot liquids.... hot anything rather.. or heights, stay away from those too... and ice... so yeah - snow cones are out of the question as its  both  icy and pointy.  But good luck!

that's usually allowed... a sort of imagined transparency.  And seriously, I'd be concerned about anyone nitpicky enough to count.

Could interest some of you, as this one is a bit more of an adventure game than say.. Tomb Raider. This goes to show you what a huge market video games are, haha, oh god someone put me to sleep the day they decide to make "Myst the Musical"

http://us.imdb.com/Title?0369226

-- excuse me if this is already a well known fact, I just realized most gaming sites have probably already reported this. I thought the cast was interesting tho.

You really cant call any kind of skateboarding or inline skating imitation of jackass, seeing as how jackass came out in the late nineties.. and the whole trick and film thing started in like, what- the late eighties/ early nineties.   But they are GLEAMING THE CUBESTERS!  Huh? Wha? You want to be Cristian Slater avenging your asian brother's murder, huh?
#1236
No, I like it- I'm interested to see how creative folks get.  I think I even assigned the disifgured thing in IRC - but I just wanted to see if I could get away with a remake of my goat impaled man.

Well come on, it's not like there are many places on Susanne Summers' body that you could put your hand on without being naughty..

Hehe, I'm not going to say anything because I want someone else to catch it.

net, elaborate on how the bed is wrong.  To me, it appears the bed is positioned at an angle to the wall. Thats not perspective, thats feng shui.
