Dude, good call on the computer, slamgrinder.  But now I'm calling you off your mission. No longer stalk and survey Denzil. Your cover has been blown, way to go.

Ninjas are ninjas.  Does the motto "Save The Ninjas" mean nothing to you?

I knew my distaste for Franklin Pierce would one day be justified.  That bastard.

Cornjob, you wouldn't agree that sitting thru a feature length film of someone asking for script ideas on the AGS forum would be torture?

:)    I'm saying, never try to stretch an idea into a feature.  If you have a huge idea and it will take a feature length film to express it- YES , film a feature. But it's obvious LGM doesnt have that idea at this time.  So a short is simply logical.

Whatever you end up filming, don't try to play off teens as adults. It's never taken seriously.  Don't be mob bosses and cowboys, just be kids standing around drinking soda pop outside the general store or something.  And then one of the kids is all like "The guy on the radio says there's this contest to come up with the best jingle for 'Hardingy Flavoricles'! The winners get to sing it in the commercial... and a lifetime supply of tasty Hardingy Flavoricles!"

And then the rest of the movie consists of the kids walking around, funny things happening, and then making a lyric up... and stuff

You know what- you'll never make a feature this way, and if you did- it would be torture to sit thru.  As a film person myself I suggest you shoot a short. That's how most filmmakers start their careers as shorts are SO much more likely to be screened at a festival or seen by a movie exec. Really LGM- go with a 10-20 minute short.  I think you'll find it sufficient time to tell a story.  AND don't underestimate audio!! I realize it's probably difficult for you to get your hands on a boom, but if you have shots far away from your talent- get some sort of mic to hide somewhere in the scene.  Because sound is 90% of your movie.

Quit taking your project so seriously, and rip characters, stories, and concepts off of other stories.

Then legally change your name to George Lucas.

yeah, I'm aware it was bound to happen- but just the same as how I got excited when I noticed my car's odometer when it hit 100,000 miles - it seemed a nice coincidence that I noticed.

Not that I could use my car's mileage as a shameless plug for my website however..

I never thought it would happen, but I believe God had the last hit to my web page....

I just felt that was funny, but to legitimize this post a little, I've added some cool pictures if anyone is interested in my film work. There's some cool pics of explosions, things, etc, and stuff here:

Film Goodness!

(some red ex's there simply because I'm still making thumbnails, but still click on them.)

Thanks guys! I'd appreciate some feedback, questions, and whatnot :)

And that's why we spend hours each day doing it? Haha, check your facts!

Thing is- even if they do send out these compilations, music execs and radio stations etc get SOO much free crap that hardly any of it is ever paid attention to.

So keep that in mind too.

I seriously doubt this sort of agreement would result in anyone going out of their way too much to get your name out there.

I'm sure if this place was legit, some google searches and so forth would reveal some proof of that.

Seriously people, if the post is about an image- why post a ridiculously long link to a irrelevent body of text?

I heard the massive hack got postponed indefinitely, to be panicked over every three weeks or whenever any nerd wants to make us all paranoid because another girl he met on yahoo rejected him.

Femme, I hope you don't mind that I revised your AGS heirarchy just a tad, to be slightly more realistic and simplified:

*Note: out of the two, "realistic and simplified", one of these represents sarcasm. Guess which one!*

Depends on what kind of person you are:

If paying $99 or a certain amount of money motivates you to use that product whereas you take it for granted when its free- by all means pay up.

Otherwise, to answer your question:   No.

I don't think there should be much debate of where in the U.S. Mittens should be because I think the greatest factor is:

Does an AGSer live anywhere closeby AND is he/she willing to organize the event?

So Northern Florida or upstate New York are both ideal locations, provided airport travel and all that, but is eric, dave gilbert, mills, grund, whoever willing to take some responsibility on the ground?

I'm just saying- it's probably not a good idea to hold mittens somewhere none have us have ever been before- like Chunky, Mississippi...
well actually.. Chunky is kind of nice that time of year.

I vote for where the balls is.

And if there are no balls I vote Austin TX, because it's the live music capital of the country, hotter than a homeless dragqueen's armpit, and I'll blow tons of shit up for you guys.  Oh yeah, and the girls..

But hopefully there will be some eat coast balls
