How about a game were you play as a butt?

A butt that has to find a new body.... I like it.

Definitely lots of fart jokes.  But I think the idea would be better if the ass was a snob and doesn't care for the lowlife asses he has to see everyday.    So he seeks a better life off in a new town... hopefully on a new body.   And he looks down on other asses when they act immaturely.

Typical lines of dialogue:

"Surely I can find a better specimen than THAT."

"Oh I must reeally get out of this dump."

"You don't think me the kind of ass that ACTS like one, do you?"

"Now THERE's someone I can follow around all day."

Those ARE cropcircles.  I will not disagree with you.   On the origin of cropcircles however...

Its just ropes, boards, and a lot of spare time.   Cropcircles are an art form like anything else. ( graffiti comes to mind)

Beautiful stuff indeed, but not inhuman.  There's a group called Circlemakers who even make a profit from these circles.  They've become fantastically specialized.  If you own some land & you want to be on the local news look no further.

So which part of the post above are you providing as evidence?  The quality of the craftsmanship? I've provided evidence of humans creating crop circles... mods if you could provide evidence of aliens making them...    I will then believe you..  After all I want to believe, I really do.

On the matter of darkness and the impossibility of such precision.... wouldn't a hovering UFO with a laser be more visible than a few guys on foot?

I find a similar "tone" in other screenshots that I will use for "inspiration."    Then I just paint over it and tell my publisher that its %100 original!

Guess who I am!

Um, Ghormak and Gilbert for all their great contributions.   And let's not forget the Golden Greek Period:  Butcher, Helm, Spyros and then that other guy with the long hair.    And the early Abstract Period:  Scid, Las Naranjas, and Capt. Mostly

Also:

Dark Stalkey, Cornjob, Ionias, Rodekill, [eric], Phil, Chrille, 2ma2, Grundislav, and yahtzee may not ALL be underrated but they don't get nearly enough credit for drawing so many users to AGS.  Also, Roy Lazarovich.  Night of the Hermit was one of the most newcomer bringing games for many many months.

Even Visy deserves a mention for Lassi Quest.   Just showing everyone that a game COULD be made had a major impact.

1000 points!

I'm humbled to be compared to El Shawno Guzzo.     But yes, of course N Ford is just who you think it is.

Yes.   Read the forum rules for Gen Gen.   Stupid threads are a no-no.

People gotta police that policy, or we'll have more "teach me how to google" topics like this one.

It certainly makes them more likely to publish UFO related articles than normal.

It's like saying Hamsters can't survive in an aquarium. This is obviously true. But in that aquarium, which is vastly different to a cage, is a place where fish can live because their biology permits then to exist exclusively underwater.

Whatever you need to say to debate the existence of aliens, be my guest.

I'd like to go out on a limb and say searching for alien life by looking for similar conditions which led to life on earth is  the best method.    That's not to say there's not non-carbon based lifeforms out there.

But for the same reason a fish would expect a hamster to breathe with gills, humans believe that aliens use similar means of transportation.      I'll stick with the opinion that these lifeforms have no plausibility of driving around in big metal cars like humans.   It's literally science fiction in the sense that the idea never existed before these comic books and movies in the 1950's.  Earlier sitings would have been attributed to some other false deity.

Hence, sitings of flying metal saucers = bogus.

Viral Marketing is supposedly "news"

http://www.facelesspeople.com/

Lotus cars unveiling a new sports car...  but I sense there might be cross promotion with X-Files.   What do you think?

I happen to think, "DAMN YOU J.J. Abrams!  Damn you viral marketing!"

That's fantastic but.... what do they mean by "aspiring" ? ? ?  ;)

There was a piece on TV today that I felt was a perfect example of what I'm talking about.    Yes, we have loads of law enforcement in this country.   Their job is to uphold the law, but all too often law enforcement is simply removing the citizen's rights with no jurisdiction:

Lousiana Gun Seizures after Katrina    7:49

Lock and Load!  Let's Help These Victims!  2:06

Some of you will say "The police did the right thing.   The safety of the community is more important than individual rights."    First, Martial Law was never declared.  Second, think about how the constitution is written at this very moment.  This situation DID infringe upon these people's rights.   It doesn't matter if the move was logical or "the right thing to do".   It was plain illegal. Unconstitutional.    Consider that these officers offered no receipts and in some cases destroyed these guns on the spot.     This is after these people were neglected by FEMA and their government overall.    Looters were running rampant in these communities as if it was the apocalypse  -- and its the government's fault.    There was no police or military presence for days and days and days.  The looters were getting away with murder.     So many people had only the guns in their hands protecting themselves and their property.    Then when the government finally arrives they kick the shit out of the innocent civilians and steal their guns away.

I watch this video and all I can think is that I'm just a couple feet away from living in a police state.  This shit is crazy.    People can't trust the police for their personal safety.   It's really just not a factor.

I just played Seed, yeah I saw what you meant.   But I thought it was really creative and loved the animations.    I also played Unfinished Business and thought the tag team aspect was super.   I want to see a longer game using that system, where like each guy has his own strengths and weaknesses.    And there are even penalties for assigning the wrong guy to the task.

Dude,  there's no way an intelligent fucker would expect EVERY SINGLE PLAYER not to notice one plagiarized image.   I mean I would recognize Oblivion just from the shape of the wine bottles in the background.   This was not brilliant detective work.

Just someone saying, "Uh, that's not yours."   And now its happening thousands of times a day.   If these guys are shocked, the shock should be at the fact that they are such idiots.   They released that stupid statement shirking responsibility.   Even Sandman from Spiderman 3 had a better concocted story than these guys.   There's no way to justify their innocence or their ignorance.   It's just plain "what did you guys expect?"  and then shaking heads.  Unbelievable.
