....they use other games as a tool for making backgrounds (they don't hack it or pirate it, they just make screenshots).

I don't know what hacking/pirating refers to in this situation.   This is quite obviously an instance of plagiarizing.   In 4th grade I was told again and again that there were severe punishments for plagiarizing.    I remember an assignment to copy definitions from the back of the book and I went so far as to change the wording.   ( They knocked my grade down to a B for doing so, lol )

Video games:   While there are artists who plagiarize and credit the original author ( remakes for example ), this Limbo of the Lost seems quite shameless and tries to earn a profit.   So damn straight they should be punished.   I didn't get that B in 4th grade for nothing.

Likewise, to let these guys off the hook would be to discredit everything Mods and team are doing with Fountain of Youth.  Original artwork etc.

I had someone hand me a ten dollar bill from way back.   I asked him about it and said he had been holding onto it but was tight for cash finally.     That's probably what happened here so I doubt its been circulating very much.

Economy is crap so people are spending their collectibles.

I would hold onto it since there's a debate to remove paper money altogether.

We might end up with a coin system, and if so, the old paper money will be the talk of the town.   Hardly anybody has $10 bills from ten years ago let alone 80 years.   Frame it.

Yes, Yahtzee has done very well for himself particularly on G4.    This is a video game cable channel in the US.   Yahtzee is a big favorite on the "Attack of the Show" and "X Play".

His flash reviews are taking him way up in the industry so congrats to him.    I didn't know him but I did know Trap.  I ordered his CD.     Miss him :(

Not just file sharing.

There's all sorts of ad revenue they're losing if consumers don't stick to their websites or their cable channels.   They don't make any profits off the sketch comedy websites or places you visit like the Onion.     They don't make any money off of AGS either.   And the more time we spend away from them the less ratings and ad sales they receive.  Viacom, Time Warner, Vivendi, News Corp., AT&T  - companies that are currently making money off the internet...  realize they will actually make more money cutting up the internet and selling it to us piece by piece rather than just sell us "service".   Why make $40 a month when they can get $40 per download.

With all the new proprietary gadgets they are developing ( like the "Box", a sort of TV Computer in one) they will whittle down what we have access to, favoring ultimately a system where they can control the advertisements page by page, and limit the movies we watch to the ones their studios reap the profits from.

It will be legislative, but it will also be with new proprietary development.  Just wait and see.  If your parents one day come home from Best Buy with a TV/PC/Home Stereo system you'll know what I mean.    Avoid said device like the plague.

Welcome to The Box

Do what they do and buy some middle men.   Middle men will always do the trick.

At least, that's what I'm hoping happens!
Here's to that hope as well! :)

My concern is this,   In almost all cases where the government SHOULD have stood up against lobbying and added regulation against this sort of thing, ultimately the large corporations do get their way.   Either through mergers, monopolies, or even public policy.

The government sold our digital airwaves for peanuts a few years back.  I can just imagine threats of internet security somehow twisting public opinion into somehow favoring this idea.       I do believe it is a threat and should NOT fall under the conspiracy theory category.

The only questionable fact in that video, IMO, was the date 2012.

The Beglians basically say that they have it on high authority that ALL major ISPs have agreed with major corporations to constrict and sell off access to the internet.    Ending all traffic to smaller websites and possibly killing the spirit of the internet as soon as 2012.

They are activists asking for people to take notice.   Even though they look a scraggly bunch I'm happy they do what they do.  Net neutrality isn't going to be covered on any network TV shows any time soon.

Tell him you'll gladly pay the full amount if he provides receipts.   If the problem persists, alert your members and see if you can fund raise the $50 he says you owe him.

Are you in college?    You might be able to do this.  Atleast it works for me in the US...  Call Dominos Pizza & other pizza places.   Ask to speak to the regional manager.   Tell the manager that you are with a local school club and ask if he can donate some pizzas.

Most places donate but have a silly process like faxing in advance, or being the first to make a request for the month.   They generally have a quota and receive a tax break if they donate for educational purposes.    Try to get the pizzas in time for an event you can advertise.   If there's not many people in your club put up fliers around campus advertising a movie & pizza night or something.     You could do this a few ways.    You could make the pizza free and ask for donations.    Or you could charge fifty cents a slice.

Call the event something witty like "Help me not get the shit kicked out of me" fundraiser.   People may think its funny and throw you a couple bucks.   Especially if you're giving them something like pizza.    A tleast your members will get something out of it, rather than just taking from the overall budget...

Also NO one in that movie, that held the skull, acted out the real weight of it.  They all handled it like it was only a plastic skull.

Very good point.  Supposedly the *real* crystal skulls ( a hoax ) were made out of quartz.   Fairly dense material..... and 7 on Mohs hardness scale!   :)
