Well maybe now i am giving some wrong directions but this is how I would have drawn this See?
I would have drawn lines from the corners and ALL diagonal lines should be two pixel-up-two pixel-up like shown on the picture thenÃ,  i would have drawn the box( look closly there is a red box on the picture andÃ,  the box can be as big as you want)
And then I would have drawn the backaround by the lines

BTW the box is the back wall

Kristan, those are innaccurate directions because always drawing from the corners would give such a repetitive persepective that rooms would pretty much look alike.   Good method butnot something to preach to others. Its amazing how many different perspectives work and the vanishing point thing is great if you simply  keep it in mind and dont actually hover over your drawing with a ruler.

Naturally,  Yahtzee's numbered games and the Ben Jordan series.

I'm curious myself beyond those.

Hehehehe..

Apparently, the director of this film swears that he was not allowed anywhere near the editing process.   That sucks hard.

Keep on trying, Kurt Wimmer

we all know what going 'time out' means.

Nice read Helm.   I remember the AGS whiteboard pretty well.  I probably wouldnt have stuck around as long as I did if I didnt have such realtime fun in there with you guys.

The General General at one point was dominated by las and helm simply going back and forth on alternating viewpoints.  if you posted any sort of contraversial topic in there, it was sure to be scruitinized and then praised and then scrutinized and then be completely ignored altogether.

General Discussion / Re: King Kong

Hey guys,

I hadn't seen this before so I'll post briefly about King Kong:

Mucho respect for Peter Jackson.  His work with Naomie Watts and a CGI gorilla was outstanding.  For the first time the reactions were real and believable.

Much of that has to do with Andy Cirkis's job standing in as Kong.  Another great performance.

However, the movie was a giant ball of CHEESE.  Sure the 1930s was full of fast -talking and high hopes, but jesus- this movie had ridiculous dialogue!!!

Case in point: the black sailor and the young castaway.  The WORST dialogue I've heard in a movie this year.   My friend and I were literally laughing at the line "It's not about bravery."

The characters simply did not hold any weight.   That's my biggest gripe.  My second is that many of the FX shots looked bad.   NOT Kong at any point, or the fight with the T-Rexes.    But the establishing shots of New York, the sweeping shot of the crow's nest of the boat, and of course THE DAMN DINO STAMPEDE IN WHICH A MAN JUMPKICKS A VELOCIRAPTOR.    People looked they were standing in front of a green screen and not actually running side by side under dinosaurs.    But i digress,  overall a good movie.

No arguments further from me, thanks.

might there be any spoilers?

Babar:

Link me to AGS Church.  Sounds interesting!

Yeah, I dismissed space/planet stuff because there are already so many sci fi worlds out there.  I just imagine the AGS world would lead to dumb Star Wars / Star Trek/ Space Quest jokes (that perhaps many would enjoy).   I think an island outside of any one of AGS's many nations would be fun.  I placed it off of the UK but honestly it would be more fun to never disclose where its true location is, like Springfield in "the Simpsons."

::::::NEWSFLASH::::::

AGS declares itself a sovereign nation!  Extremist Chris Jones and his forces have infiltrated an island in international waters and are currently building what they call "AGS Nation."

Sources have disclosed information that the nation will consist of several facilities:

Blue Cup Command Center headed by Chris Jones and his elite officers.  The brain and strategic core of the new nation.

The Iron Mitten: an elite crew of strongmen keeping watch of AGS Nation's shores.  They serve as police and keep unwanted trespassers off of the island.

Jolly Roger Navy: Captain Pesty and first mate Squinky patrol the shores around the island and commandeer enemy vessels, stealing valuables and spreading fear throughout the sea.

Lovegrove Arts: Production facility creating propaganda films for the newly formed government.  m0ds, LGM, Grund, and ehm.. evenwolf receive orders on how to promote the AGS message to the world at large.

Training facility:  AGS recruits are put through obstacles and grueling combat exercises to learn the way of AGS.  Also, basic tenchincal questions are answered here.

AGS Underground:  Headed by Las Naranjas, the revolutionary and Capt. Mostly, the neo- anarchist to subvert all efforts of order in the new nation.

Download Who Killed Kenny Rogers from slugbicyclewhatnot.

I think your idea could work in that people would be motivated.  The downside would be:

1.) Who is going to make the first game?
2.)  How many AGSers are there? and how do we not offend those omitted?
3.)  Personal grudges and putting words into others' mouths.

Personally 2 and 3 aren't that big of a deal.  What I'm saying is that you best make the first one and others will follow suit.  Don't wait for permission or community acceptance.  RON probably never would have happened today if they waited for consensus.

Hahaha, there it is!   I can't believe I misnamed it in the Readme, that's embarrassing.

Unfortunately my machine cannot play it for some reason.  Some sort of overflow.   I'll try it on a couple more machines.  Thanks Squinky! and thanks Shodan for... hosting it?
