Hmz.. Inncreator is my man! dont fuck around with em ;D 8).. seriously.. drop this guys..

DonB, hi my name is evenwolf.   I'm confident that in the AGS community, ALOT of people are other people's "man."   That means absolutely nothing to me.   When I form an argument, I typically use reason and rhetoric above all else.   I see that you use an artificial form of possession, that this person is your "______."

Well bigrd32 is my "homie" and colossal is my "genetic father" and yakspit is my "grand daddy long legs"  and big brother is my "high swingin' cuz" and ProgZ is my "probation officer."

Now who the heck are you?

Holy cow.  These interviews remind me of this one time I witnessed Chris Walken talking to himself.  It was damned interesting.

Aye, tis a sad day when the author of a video game no longer has a copy.

I remember the minutes I slaved away creating the unique walk animation of the protaganist and mail courier of the galaxy.  And the mere three hours it took to create the game.

Pity it was an "hour" game.  I hosted it at one point but have since lost it.   If you were around years ago and downloaded every game released ever - please take a look in your old CDs etc.

I would love to play Space Mail again for that glorious 2 and a half minutes.

thank you,

Lord Nipper:

Haha, the old bush trick!

bigrd:

Immediately I gave you the credit of this being a "technical exercise" and if this was the first time you tinkered around with AGS, it was a successful one.

Your dialogue branches, score system, walk paths, and puzzle all worked.

In the next game I'd like to see some original graphics and dialogue that makes a bit more sense.  Don't worry about making the Game of the Month.  Just try to express yourself.

And screw the critics.

Increator:

Upon reading this thread (and no I did not download the game first) I formed almost the same words in my head in response to your critique.  Your response had much to do with why I decided not to download immediately.

Very assholish.  So be careful... someone might even post really bad stuff in the future just to draw out your criticism.  ;)

Manic Matt,

the real person wasting his/her time is the person who reads this thread and all the responses, and then for some odd reason takes it upon himself to be the personal guardian of everyone's productivity.

You are wasting your time on an online forum in the first place.  Relax and don't whine so much.

"insalt me which i did not even expect from anyone in this life and i was really angry"

This phrase made the whole ordeal worth it.

One of you AGSers nearest to Nigeria should send the scammer a postcard that says the package got caught up in customs and to claim it there will a small fee.  Then keep milking him for three months.

If evil exists, you did a fine job of defining it.

But did Hitler command the Holocaust and regard it "an evil thing to do"?

To him it was righteous.  He may not have been sociopathic but he and his followers were operating under a skewed perspective all the same.  In recent years, many Americans have witnessed a similar sense of nationalism.  Some of us feel pretty conflicted about it... but the others, are they evil?

"evil" and "crazy" are standards that you can never scientifically measure.  they're concepts for the extremes beyond our own stantards.  So I'll agree with you that Bundy wasn't evil.  Everyone that knew him claims that he was an incredibily nice guy, actually.

You guys know Hilter had Parkinsons?

Ted Bundy was a sociopath, and ignoring the fact that he may not have recognized distinctions between "right" and "wrong" I'll go out on a limb to call him a fairly evil person.  After all, the term "serial killer" was invented for what he did.

He confessed to 30 murders but investigators believe there have been over 100 since Ted was 14.  That means 70 families never found out where their daughters disappeared to.

Read up on him sometime.  While morbid, an interesting read:

People used to be comfortable walking at night, hitchhiking, and trusting strangers.  Ted Bundy gave us a reason not to.

No its a disclaimer, or rather a plothook for a past franchise.

In the old movies Obi Wan could communicate to Luke despite being dead.  Hence, if they threw that one line in the movie, fans could only complain about a lack of logic - rather than a lack of explaination.

interesting points, Las.

WAIT!    I just realized the Secret of Monkey Island!  Who wants to hear?

Oh yeah, and my opinion is that the movie looked amazing and got me really involved.  I've been talking about it ever since I saw it.  My concerns are the dialogue.

Not only were the lines and the delivery bad, there should have been way less.

Grievous should have been more of a Darth Maul character and kept his mouth shut.  Clone Wars presented Grievous as a quiet badass as well.  It really worked.

In Ep 3, he was intimidating in appearance, but sounded like a distant cousin of Jar Jar Binks.  Gary Oldman was reportedly asked to voice the part but it didnt work out.  This would have improved Grievous tremendously.

The establishing shots were gorgeous.  I watched the movie on a DLP projector so I'm not sure how different this is from film.   But it looked great.  The first sequence was so busy and beautiful.

Jimmy Smits' swinging by to pick up Yoda was hilarious.

Yoda:  "In exile I must now go."

Smits:  "Cool bro.  I know this quaint swamp where you can check yourself in peace."

Commander Cody: "Wait. So which one is code 66?"

Trooper Dan: "Kill all wookies?""

Commander Cody: "No no, that's code 48. And code 49 is 'Braid all wookies.'"

Trooper Dan: "Right. Hmm code 66. You got me."

Senator Palpatine: "Idiots, I gave you this simple acronym, remember? KAJAMSOWAYNEWASP!"

Commander Cody: "Sorry sir, it doesn't ring a bell."

Senator Palpatine: "Kill All Jedis And Make Sure Obi Wan And Yoda Never Escape With Anakin Skywalker's Progeny!"

Commander Cody: "Sir, are you sure you want them dead?  They hang out with Jimmy Smits."
