My hair is dark, thick, and curly.Ã,  I feel like a completely different person with each length of hair.

Yeah, a lot of Kerry's effort in the debates has been spent trying not to appear to be a liberal, and yet not disassociate himself from his friendly liberal friends.

And eric, it's not that Bush isn't capable of debating without name-calling.Ã,  Sadly, name-calling can be quite effective to many people watching.Ã,  Huh?Ã,  What... this Kerry feller is a liberal?!Ã,  Hell, we can't put another one a them in office!Ã,  Look what Lincoln done!

I played the game for a good number of hours:

Here is an easy breakdown.

Walk around in 3d.
There isn't a health bar but there is a confidence and an alcohol meter.
Dialog options are chosen by a mini-game at the bottom of the screen, depending on which obstacles you hit with a swimming sperm.
Dance Dance Revolution to seduce women.Ã,  (?)
Bounce quarters to subdue women with alcohol.
Sometimes run around to avoid goons.

It didn't impress me too much.Ã,  I respect them bringing it back to try and interest new gamers.Ã,  I'm tempted to play it again, but not buy it.

Ah but that would only make us more frustrated when people inevitably make mistakes, annoying posts, and repetitive dribble.

And furthermore might deter some awesome (perhaps lazy) people who would otherwise become AGSers.

General Discussion / Re: For Aussies.
Fri 08/10/2004 13:24:28
Sorry to intrude Aussies!

but I've got a good turn out for my video project... that is to say - except from Australia!

Has the digital camera not made its way down there yet?Ã,  I bet it has.Ã,  Ã,

I need:Ã,  an Australian standing outside somewhere "uniquely australian" (ie: geography, arcitecture, landmark), and for him/her to say the line "You'd get a nice tan down here, Jesse"Ã,  as if convincing me to come to Australia rather than another country.Ã,  ( "Don't go there, come here")Ã,  Anyone able?

Well you're gist about the US defying the U.N. is right.Ã,  A nation cannot simply respect the UN when it agrees with you, and then defy it when it doesn't- you have to sign on with a whole package deal.Ã,  Otherwise it doesn't work.

Bush's logic: "Saddam is defying the UN! Attack him!"

Bush's action: Defy the U.N.

This is the point Kerry made about keeping alliances.Ã,

And France and Russia are irrelevant.Ã,  No matter what their relation to Iraq before Bush "asked them for help" - the given context was to help him exploit 9/11 and carry his own agenda in Iraq.Ã,  Ã, Bush wantd to get the man his father didn't, and the oil, and Why should France or Russia be obligated to that goal?Ã,  They have their own affairs to deal with besides petty wars.

Dave Gilbert:

I'd say not responding to the charges that he was weak or a flip-flopper was a very wise move.Ã,  In advertising, acknowledging your weakness to the audience is bad.

Say three out of ten people never heard Bush's campaign saying "Kerry is a flip-flopper."

Then all ten people see the ad that says "I know Bush thinks I'm this, but I'm not. Trust me."Ã,  Now the seven people are conflicted, but they don't necessarily change their minds- and the three newcomers are suspicious of Kerry being a flip-flopper.

Instead, Kerry ignored Bush - he let Bush's advertising focus solely on the flip-flopping.... and now Bush is screwed.Ã,  Kerry appeared stronger and more determined than Bush during the debate.Ã,  "Flip-flop" was Bush's ultimate move but Kerry swept it aside in one hour.Ã,  All that negative campaigning, virtually a waste.

Lost Traveler:

Please stop trolling. Senator Kerry had 90 seconds to make a rebuttal to Bush. One of the points he had to make was that he had a strong backing by the US military.Ã,  He listed the biggest names of those supporters, not his ONLY supporters.Ã, Ã, Kerry had one minute and a half to make counterpoints to Bush- not to list a bunch of names.

You know four generals, that's great.Ã,  List their full names in your reply without typing more than twenty words.Ã,

You may stop laughing now.

To answer your questions:

Why:

This is a character/skill assessment tape that is similar to the ones you would see on "Survivor,"Ã,  However, the position is for a network and not a particular series. I am applying to be aÃ,  Digital Correspondent.  I would write segments, host segments, and edit them all over the US and perhaps the world.  Therefore I feel these shots with AGSers around the world will appeal to the reviewing board.

When:Ã,

As soon as possible.Ã,  My application/ supplements need to be in by the 15th.Ã,  However, I need to edit this so I really really really prefer before the 10th.

Again, please by October 10th!Ã,  I will put a finished version online for all agsers to see.

Possibly a friend's connection?Ã,

Or we could give you a quick punchline, for example "Jesse has a large penis."

At worst, you could send me a compressed file.

Thanks mods.

I shall now email grundislav, cornjob, and andrew edmark

General Discussion / Jesse Applies For TV

**ego alert**

A spokesmen for a new US television channel has interviewed me, I've made it to the next step, and now I need to make a video submission about myself.

So I have an idea.Ã,  Instead of putting just my face on the tape - what if other people across the world each told the employers one simple fact about me?Ã,  (ie: "Jesse has blown stuff up in movies. I can respect that."

It would be a series of quick cuts, each AGSer saying one line of dialog, and preferrably somewhere "recognisably foreign."Ã,  (AKA outdoors and not in Texas)

Please, anyone with the resources to do this, I would greatly appreciate the help.

If you have a camera and software- but need help, let me know. I can host files etc.

I answered 17 questions.

I got 16 right.
